DU Admissions 2022: Counselling & Seat Allotment Process Through CUET UG is Confirmed

DU Admissions 2022: The DU admissions 2022 for undergraduate will be concluded through the Common Seat Allocation System 2022 (CSAS). This process will begin once the CUET 2022 exams are over.

As per the official notification, CUET will be conducted in 3 phases.

DU Admissions 2022: 3 Counselling Phases Through CUET UG

As mentioned above, there are 3 phases under which CUET will be conducted

Phase 1: 

• Candidates must apply through CSAS form 2022. 
• They should also pay a one-time refundable amount. I
• If the candidates apply under ECA and sports supernumerary, then they should pay an additional amount.

Phase 2:

• Candidates have to select the programmes and need to fill their preferences. 
• Once the results are declared, the candidates should complete the admission for their preferred stream. 
• The candidates can select as many programmes as they want to join, only they need to meet the eligibility criteria. 
• The final selection will be done based on the preference order for seat allocation.

Phase 3:

• The admission will be completed as per the order of preferences of program+ college in CSAS form. 
• University authorities will check the candidate’s rank in the programme merit list for the UR/OBC/NCL/SC/ST/EWS category. 

Please note that: Candidates are advised to complete the admission process on time. If they fail to do so, they can choose the mid entry option. The mid entry fee will be INR 1000 for all the candidates.

DU Admission 2022: Tie Breaking Round

In case there is a tie between CSAS round for seat allocation & admission process to DU and CUET UG 2022 merit score, the given below tie breaking rule will be followed 

• Candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate marks in the top 3/4/5 subjects in class 12.
• Candidates with older DOB as mentioned in Class 10 certificate will get preferences

DU 2022 Spot Admission

If there are still a few seats available after the completion of CSAS rounds, then DU may declare spot admissions. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website of DU for the same.
