Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida setting new standards for Learning

Editor Ms. Prachi Agarwal writes about serving the larger interest of the students which is to make them useful and successful engineers. She writes, “Placement of young energetic budding engineers is of prime importance to all of us. We involve students not only in the acquisition of a formal qualification valued in society but also in the excitement of investigation, the pursuit of ideas and the satisfaction that comes from applying technical knowledge.”

The Institution has enabled its members to participate in various events. A workshop on "Universal Human and Professional Ethics" was organized at Moradabad Institute of Technology, Moradabad. The Master Training Workshop on Spoken Tutorial was organized by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow at its Noida Campus, in collaboration with IIT Bombay where faculty members from various colleges affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow attended.

NPTEL Awareness Workshop was conducted by IIT Madras at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram. DGI, Greater Noida also hosted the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2018) and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) conducted by AICTE on its campus.

DGI SMILE Club members under the NSS Wing of the Institution, Greater Noida visited “Vishwas”, a rehabilitation center for differently abled people at Greater Noida. The Institution organized National Voter’s day on 25th January 2018 to raise awareness about voting rights and importance. Placement drives of Taskstream, Innostax Software Labs, and Tek Travels were held at the Greater Noida campus.

The Institution was also adjudged the “Best Accredited Student Branch” in the 52nd Annual Convention of the Computer Society of India was held at Science City, Kolkata which is another feather in its cap.
