DBSE Signs MoU: Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Burlington English, a leading global provider of English language learning solutions.
Mr Himanshu Gupta, Director of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, says they have always worked to ensure that children get a wide range of skills from the school system. In addition, they are happy to work together with Burlington English to provide learning opportunities to students and teachers. He also hopes that this will provide a lot of opportunities for them in the future. They are also going to initiate Project Voices in Delhi government schools. It will improve the student’s confidence and communication skills.
DBSE Signs MoU With Burlington English
More than 200 children from the Dr BR Ambedkar Schools of Specialized Excellence run by the Delhi government would receive training in:
Teachers will also receive training to improve their language skills and learning outcomes. With technology, the students will receive assistance in improving their English communication skills. Class 1-12 students in other Delhi government schools that are not yet affiliated with the DBSE will also have access.
Classes 1-5 would concentrate on improving how the English language is learnt. While classes 9-12 would concentrate on spoken English skills to meet their needs for future skill development and employability. The authorities will also arrange for debate programs to engage students and give them a platform to display their language skills.
