"Candidates encountered numerous technical errors like language mismatch while taking the CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 exam."
CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 Exam: CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 exam begins today i.e., 4 August 2022. The first slot of the exam was marred by several technical glitches that hampered the candidates’ test-taking experience. There was a central server error, which caused questions to appear on the screen late. Not only that, but there were mismatches in the language of the questions and answer options. In some cases, the subject-specific question display also encountered errors.
According to the test taker for CUET 2022 Slot 1 Rajesh, the options were not correct in the Home Science paper. The questions opening time was longer than usual for which extra time was provided.
One of the test taker, Shreya, claimed there were technical issues while attempting the General Test Paper, for which she waited for an hour and was unable to attempt the General Test at the end.
Today I appeared for cuet exam and there is no question appearing when General Test paper come, we have to wait 2 hours but still the paper didn’t display. Please look into it and arrange the dates for the exam again. It’s a request. #CUET2022 #GeneralTest #cuet

Another test taker, Anjali, stated that the language of the questions did not correspond to the answer options, making the section difficult to complete. The questions appearing in Hindi had options in English even after selecting the language as Hindi.

NTA to Retake General Test
According to exam centre officials, candidates who opted for the General Test but were unable to take it due to server errors will be notified by the National Testing Agency of a new date and time to take the General Test.
Test centre officials also clarified that there were technical glitches that occurred on the Central Server and that the NTA is responsible for the same. It had nothing to do with the exam centre. They waited for the question papers to load on the central server, but there were no questions even after an hour. They reassured the candidates and waited patiently. Further, candidates began complaining about mismatches by the time the questions appeared.
Meanwhile, the NTA has postponed the exam at several locations due to technical difficulties. Their examination will take place on 12 August. The NTA has also responded to candidates’ tweets, stating that an appropriate decision will be made based on the Centre Observer report.
