CUET 2022 – 25 State Universities in Karnataka Now Accept CUET Scores; Application Forms Releasing Tomorrow

The UGC Chairman, M Jagadesh Kumar, announced on his Twitter handle that vice-chancellors of 25 universities in Karnataka have agreed to use CUET 2022.
His tweet says, “Today, I had a meeting with the vice-chancellors of 25 state universities from Karnataka to discuss CUET. The VCs have supported the introduction of CUET and have agreed to use CUET for admissions in BA, BSc, BCom, and similar programs,”
Therefore, from this year, 45 central universities, 25 Karnataka state universities, and few private institutes will adopt the Common Universities Entrance Test.

About the Exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct CUET 2022. The exam facilitates admission into UG courses offered by central universities and other participating institutions. Previously, many central universities were already using CUCET to provide admissions in various programs before this entrance exam became mandatory.
Furthermore, NTA has released the exam structure for CUET. According to the notice, the question paper will have four sections. The paper pattern includes a compulsory language test, two domain-specific tests, and a general test.
The registration process for CUET will start on 6 April 2022. After the release of application forms, candidates must register themselves at cuet.samarth.ac.in.
