The Central Board of Secondary Education has released examination dates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2021 Session. Furthermore, the board will begin the registration process for the national-level eligibility test on 20 September 2021. Due to pandemic-related constraints, the application facility will be available wholly online on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Thus, interested candidates can register for the examination until 19 October 2021. Afterwards, registered applicants can continue to pay the application fee until 3:30 PM on 30 October 2021.
Originally, the entrance exam would occur offline on a single date. However, for the first time, the CTET 2021 will take place online across several days. In addition, the board has increased the validity of the qualifying certificate to lifetime. The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the CTET twice a year to enable admissions to CBSE-affiliated classes 1 to 8 teaching posts. Consequently, the required registration fees for the assessment are as follows.
|Candidate Category||One Paper (Paper I OR Paper II)||Two Papers (Paper I AND Paper II)|
|General/OBC||INR 1000||INR 1200|
|SC/ST/PwD||INR 500||INR 600|

Additionally, the CTET 2021 will take place in an online, computer-based testing mode from 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022.
