CSIR National Eligibility Test (NET) Results released

The result of the CSIR National Eligibility Test (NET) has been released by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The results were declared on the 30th of November. The candidates who took up the exam can check their results on the Human Resource Development Group’s official website.

The result for a total of 1858 candidates is available on the website. The exam date was on the 18th of June, 2017. It was conducted to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Selected candidates will be eligible for JRF from the 1st of January, 2018. CSIR had addressed all the queries and representations that the candidates had put forward till 5:00 PM on 26th July 2017. The results were published only after taking all these into account. Instructions for the issue and obtainment of the eligibility certificates shall also be released on the official website for the students who have cleared the exam.

  1. Visit the official website of CSIR.
  2. There will be a link that says "JOINT CSIR-UGC NET EXAM June 2017 Result”.
  3. Click on that link.
  4. The PDF contains the roll numbers and ranks of the selected candidates.

About NET:

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is also known as UGC NET or CBEC NET. It is a national level exam for selecting eligible candidates for the position of lecturer in college and university level. This exam is also used to give away the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Candidates who clear the NET exam are eligible for jobs in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
