A constituent body in Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur - Centre for Design Excellence (CODE), has recently celebrated the success of its first-ever Online Learning Festival #NoLockdownOnEducation for students, academicians, Working professionals, and aspiring candidates related to many creative domains of design streaming and architecture is being live from past 6 days. In the age of social distancing, CODE successfully connected with the aspirants digitally from all over the world following the digital revolution.
This #NoLockdown festival can be a virtual platform for many aspiring candidates and professionals to interact and engage with each other at several levels. Multiple webinars, expert talks, and student open sessions under various Themes such as New Designers for a renovated world, Dil Se...What students say, Compete, conquer, and contribute, and many more Crack the entry code was conducted to engage young minds.
The CODE-VGU conducted its first online webinar session series. The campaign invited renowned designers, architects, and academicians from different parts of the country like Ar. Dhruv Gupta, an eminent Architect contributing to theme-based interior projects in the city, Fort Restaurant, Retro, Night-Jar, C Prof. (Col) Shishir Kumar, Director General-ImaginXP, Ms. Shuchi VC, owner of the label Shuchi VC, and Principle Designer discussing their insights on fashion, architecture, interiors, and UX design, and chairman, Education Committee, ARCASIA, Ms. Kirti Rathore, a Fashion Designer for men’s in the Fashion Industry.
These webinar sessions enable a path for all the professionals to come, share, and discuss their projects, and create many ideologies with the students, aspiring candidates, and others. Mr. Onkar Bagaria, University CEO, says the past six days were full of resources, workforce, and learning for the students as well as for the fraternity. Everybody participated with full enthusiasm. Thus it is a good start to bring people together in a digital firm to adapt to the changes in education systems. Learning shouldn’t stop in any circumstances.
Students from across the country came together digitally With open sessions like Dil Se…..What do students say? The students easily got connected with CODE students and shared their experiences and innovative ideas contributing towards designing as well as reshaping the modern education systems followed with a suggestive draft. There were conversations on the time management ways, world of feature and faction, passion to profession, etc.
The participation of over 1500+ participants for the entire week and around 70 + students attended the sessions every day to learn many things in the architecture and design field. Expert sessions by onboard faculties took place on topics important for UCEED, NATA, NIFT, and NID entrance benefitting the aspiring architecture and design aspirants. The Webinar saw many new connections and friendships taking shape in the end.
The festival also hosted various competitions for photography, sketching, and innovative ideas open for all. Winning entries of the webinar and sessions were awarded cash prizes and participants were given digital participation certificates.
Dr. Kajal Thakuriya, the event coordinator mentioned her delightfulness over the rousing success of the campaign and said that they were so grateful and touched by witnessing the way people showed up. It was a pleasure to conduct such digital interactions and feed.
