A Four-day long 59th Annual NASA Convention was held at Jaipur. The National Association of Students of Architecture commonly referred to as NASA India is one of the largest Architectural Student Organizations in the world with student participants from more than two hundred institutions all over India and countries around the world.
Parallel Projections, the theme of 59th Annual NASA Convention, merely played the gateway to the inventory of the parts of one’s envisionment getting lost along the process of it being implemented. The convention was a prodigious event inviting Architecture Schools from India and abroad to participate, adding to its charisma. A Parallel Projection has a unique capacity of leveling the human eye and its perspective. It levels all indentations to a singular surface, to the extent that it denies the perception of actual form, space, and reality. It corresponds to a projection with infinite focal length.
This four-day-long event, hosted by School of Planning and Architecture, Poornima University, Jaipur, was attended by around 4,000 student delegates.
The aim of this workshop was to harness new skills and techniques in the participants to enhance their abilities as an architecture. It gave a basic understanding of the topics and gave a scope to the students to explore their strengths in various genres.
