NBSE HSLC Application Form 2021

As per the latest update, students who were unable to appear for exams of some subjects can apply for the re-exam of NBSE by submitting a COVID-19 negative report. The last date to apply for the Nagaland HSSLC re-exam is 28th April 2021. The registration process for the class 10th board exam is authorized by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE). NBSE released the application form for class 10th board exams on 10th November 2020 on the official website. Students received the application forms from their respective schools and had to submit them back at the earliest. The schools then submitted the forms to the central schools that forwarded them to the board by 18th December 2020.

Candidates must apply for the NBSE HSLC application form to appear for the NBSE HSLC final examination. Candidates who wish to appear for the 2021 board exams must fill out and submit the application form before the last date mentioned by the NBSE. Candidates who fail to complete the application process within the stipulated time should pay an additional amount and the application fees as a late registration fee. NBSE HSLC Application Form 2021 Notification

As per the notification released on the NBSE website, students who want to apply for HSLC exams must fill in the registration form from 10th November 2020. How to Submit the NBSE HSLC Application Form 2021?

School authorities must download the HSLC application forms from the official website. Follow the step-by-step procedure given below to get the application form:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NBSE -

Step 2: Click on the "Notification" tab on the right sidebar of the home page.

Step 3: Look for the "NBSE HSLC Application Form 2021" link on the notification page.

Step 4: Candidates need to fill in the application form correctly under the guidance of school authorities.

Step 5: After filling out the application form, click on the Submit button to proceed to the payment process.

Step 6: Finish the payment process, save and take a printout of the submitted form for further use.

Documents Required for NBSE HSLC Application Form 2021

Candidates have to send scanned copies (jpg, jpeg files) of the following documents, which are required to be uploaded while filling out the NBSE HSLC application form 2021.

  1. Recent passport size colour photograph

  2. Signature (preferably in black ink)

  3. Valid identity proof (Aadhaar card, passport, ration card, etc.)

  4. Valid proof of date of birth

  5. Valid proof of residence

  6. Social category/caste certificate
  7. Ex-serviceman certificate (if applicable)

  8. Disability certificate (if applicable)

Nagaland HSLC Application Form 2021 Details

Students must provide the following information while filling in the Nagaland HSLC application form. Please look into the following table, which explains the description of each detail in the application form:


There will be two options from which candidates need to select, whichever is applicable. If a candidate did regular schooling, he/she needs to choose 'Regular' and choose Private.

School name

Candidates need to write their school names correctly.

Candidate's name

Candidates need to write their names in capital letters, and it should also match the name mentioned in their certificates.

Note: Registered name will be used further in all future academic courses.

Guardian details

Candidates need to write their Guardian/Parent's name in Hindi and also in English. 

Date of birth

Candidates need to enter their date of birth as registered on their birth certificate issued by the government of India.

Gender and caste

Candidates need to write their caste, which is applicable and needs to be verified along with the original community certificate issued by the government of Nagaland at the time of admission.

Physically handicapped (PH)

If a candidate is physically challenged, then he/she needs to select an option as Yes or No, and if yes, a candidate needs to specify or verify along with the medical certificate.


Select the religion to which the candidate belongs to

Email Id and mobile number

Candidates must provide a valid mobile number & email Id which will be used for further communication.

Communication address

Candidates need to write their communication address or permanent address, and the candidate should have an address certificate for proof.

Two identification marks

Candidates need to mention any two identification marks that are visible and permanent. Such as moles, marks, etc.

Signatures of parents and candidates

Applicant's parents need to provide their signature on the form, which states that all the details mentioned above in the application form are true and correct.

Photograph and signature

Candidates are required to paste in their recent passport size photograph in the given box, and the dimension for the photo should be 4.5cm * 3.5cm, write a clean signature that is visible to the authority.
