Kerala Board Application Form 2021

SSLC board released the Kerala SSLC application form on its official website - Keralapareekshabhavan.in  in November 2020.In contrast, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) released the Kerala Plus Two application form in December 2020 on its official website - dhsekerala.gov.in for the board exam registration.

Candidates should approach their school authorities for guidance regarding the exam registration process. Application forms have to be filled and submitted within the specified time limit set by the board. If candidates fail to submit their applications within the date specified, they will have to pay an additional fee along with the standard application fee as a penalty.

The board will also release an application for supplementary exams once the regular exam results are out. Therefore, candidates should pay attention and stay updated on notifications from the official websites and this portal.

Kerala SSLC Board Application Form 2021 Guidelines

Pareeksha Bhavan is the institution coming under the department responsible for undertaking examinations of the education department and the government as well. Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan is involved in conducting evaluations such as SSLC, THSSLC, KGTE, Scholarship exams.

Candidates can also apply for re-examination conducted for those who did not clear the regular board examination. The candidates should compulsorily fill out the application form before the last date. Those who fail to submit the application form will not be allowed to appear for the board examinations. 

Candidates appearing for the Kerala SSLC examination are categorised as follows:

  1. SGC - School Going Candidates

  2. RAC - Re-Admitted Candidates 

  3. ARC - Attendance Recouped Candidates

  4. CCC - Candidature Cancelled Candidates

  5. BT - Betterment of Results Candidate

  6. PVT - Private Candidates

Note:

  • The process of completing the application form is different for each category of candidates.

  • School going candidates need not provide their data and photographs to register for the Kerala SSLC examination 2021.

  • In case of any error, they can correct it online and get the print out countersigned by the Head of their Institution and submit the same to respective DEOs.

  • All other categories of candidates have to fill out the application form and submit the same along with prescribed fees to the Headmaster of the examination centre they have chosen on stipulated dates. 

Kerala Plus Two Application Form 2021 Guidelines

Candidates can collect application forms from the school office or else download them from the DHSE portal - dhsekerala.gov.in and candidates must strictly adhere to the format of Kerala Plus Two application form 2021 provided by the board. Candidates registering for the second year of Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) shall register only for those subjects they appeared in the first year of higher secondary examination.

Find below the important points to note while applying for the Kerala Plus Two application form 2021 for regular and open school candidates. Candidates must go through all the following details carefully to make sure that DHSE accepts their application forms:

  • Changes in the subject combination is not allowed during the second year.

  • No modification of the examination centre shall be allowed.

  • DHSE will reject the applications submitted after the last date.

  • Candidates should not send the application form directly to the Directorate.

  • Candidates shall affix a passport-size photograph in the space provided on the application form.

  • The concerned school Principal should adequately attest to the candidate's photograph.

  • Candidates must pay the prescribed fee for the examination to the school before the final date.

  • The fee amount once remitted as examination fees will not be refunded or adjusted as the fee for upcoming tests.

For Regular Candidates:

  • Regular candidates can register for the Higher Secondary examination by remitting the school office's prescribed fee before the deadline mentioned by the board.

  • Regular candidates need not submit an application form to register for the Kerala Plus Two examination.

  • Regular candidates should register only for the Higher Secondary examination for the subjects sanctioned by the Higher Secondary Directorate, in the school.

  • Candidates who have not undergone Continuous Evaluation (CE)/have not secured a minimum percentage of attendance/have not been issued the order sanctioning condonation for the shortage of attendance will not be allowed to appear in the examination even after the registration.

For Open School Candidates:

  • Open school and compartmental candidates, including both regular and private, should apply to register for the Higher Secondary examination in the format prescribed by the board before the last date for the same.

  • Open school candidates should apply to the Principal of the exam centre allotted to them. 

  • Open school candidates shall submit their Kerala Plus Two application form 2021 for Higher Secondary Examinations in the prescribed format along with the Private registration memo/ attested copy of identity card issued by the Kerala state open school. Remit the prescribed fees to the Principal of the school, which is assigned as their examination centre by the open school authorities.

  • Open school candidates shall register for the examination for plus two only for the subjects recorded as per the open school registration memo.

  • All open school candidates registering for the Second Year Higher Secondary Examination shall submit a self-attested copy of the scoresheet of the first year Higher Secondary Examination.

For Compartment Candidates:

  • Candidates who register for the Second Year SAY/Improvement examination and first-year Improvement/Supplementary examination should apply for registering for the examination in the prescribed format before the last date mentioned for the same.

  • Candidates who appeared for Higher Secondary examinations in sub-centres or clubbed centres should submit their application to the main centre.

Kerala SAY Exam Application 2021

Kerala board will conduct SAY exams for candidates who secure a D grade or less than that in the board examination. Candidates can visit the official website and download the Kerala application form for the SAY examination. The board conducts SAY (Save A Year) examination for the candidates to clear the failed exams and get the certificate. Exams are usually conducted in May for SSLC and June for Plus Two candidates.
