JKBOSE 10th Application Form 2021 Important Information

Candidates should submit their application to the school authorities in the prescribed format along with the fees and certificates signed by the officers authorized for this purpose. After the successful completion of the application process, the eligibility to appear in the examinations will come by the fulfillment of certain conditions laid down by JKBOSE. The following officers shall be competent to attest to the candidates' applications and to sign the required certificates:

(i) Regular Students - Headmasters, Headmistresses, and Principals of affiliated Institutions/affiliated colleges where the candidates have pursued the course for the examination.

(ii) Candidates who appear in the examination of the board and failed or placed under the reappear category - Headmasters, Headmistress, and Principals of affiliated Institutions/affiliated Colleges last attended by the candidate

Admission Form Fee:

The admission fees form for a regular/private candidate shall vary from time to time. In the case of regular candidates, they can realize the application form fee through affiliated Institutions.

Late Fee for Admission

If a candidate submits the admission form or fee or both after the last prescribed date, they must pay the late fee as defined by the board. The Chairman or any other officer authorized by him may sanction late fees and forms up to 30 days before the examination commencement. The board will not entertain further admission forms after the expiry of the second count of 10 days, even with a maximum late fee prescribed by the board.

Remission of Late Fee

(i) Chairman will sanction the remission of late fees in the submission of admission forms, permission forms, and other documents and fees, etc. However, this is applicable only in genuine cases and exceptional circumstances beyond the control of the candidate or Institution. In this case, the authority will make sure that the candidate or the Institution has not been guilty of negligence or fraud.

(ii) The Chairman, to avoid hardship in deserving cases, shall have the power to sanction the remission of late fees for reasons to be recorded.

Examination Fee

Candidates must pay the following fees as per schedule for the issue of certificates:

(a) Admission fee

(b) English only examination fee

(c) Additional subject/s fee

(d) Completion of the examination fee

(e) Fees to be paid for an amanuensis:

Provided that the board spares blind/deaf candidates from fee payments. Also, physically disabled candidates who are at least 50% disabled need not pay the examination fees.

One Subject Reappearing Candidate:

i) Candidates of the reappearing category in one subject will be eligible to join the next higher classes and appear for the subsequent examination, provided that they are eligible to appear provisionally.

The exam authority shall not declare the higher board examination result until they pass the corresponding lower board examination. If such candidates pass the reappear examination after the session in which they qualify, the board shall deem them to have passed the higher board exam.
