The admission procedure for MMS in Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research, [TIMSR] Mumbai is given below,

Application Procedure ::

Obtain Application Form and Prospectus available online through our website or offline at TIMSR from Monday to Saturday, 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. & Sunday 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Form fee Rs. 2000/- in cash.
Fill the Application Form and submit the same with necessary documents.

Eligibility ::

Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate from any University, recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/AICTE. Those who are appearing for final examination in April-May 2016 can also apply. Candidates should have appeared for the CMAT conducted by AICTE, Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2016) conducted by the DTE (15% seats will be filled by All India Quota) through CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ JMET (conducted by IITs)/ MAT (conducted by AIMA in February 2016)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by the AICTE) and should have obtained the requisite score. Candidate applying for the Hindi Minority Category should be Hindi speaking and should have passed the SSC, HSC & Degree examination from the Maharashtra State only and should be domicile in State of Maharashtra.


Admission Procedure ::
The applicant must submit the prescribed application form along with necessary certificates on or before the due date.
As per the Entrance Test scores the list of Hindi Minority selected candidates will be declared on TIMSR Notice Board.

Documents are required to be submitted with the form :: 
SSC Mark sheet
HSC Mark sheet
Graduation Mark sheet (Candidate who belongs to ‘Other than University of Mumbai Category are required to bring photocopy of all years/ semesters degree mark sheet)
Graduation Passing Certificate
Entrance Test Score Card
College Transference Certificate
Nationality Certificate (Birth or 10th leaving certificate or Passport)
Domicile Certificate (For Hindi Minority Candidate)
Affidavit (For Hindi Minority Candidate)
Eligibility Certificate (Candidate who belongs to ‘Other than University of Mumbai Category
Migration Certificate (Candidate who belongs to ‘Other than University of Mumbai Category
(Candidate has to submit three attested copies of these documents.)

Fees ::
The fees for A.Y. 2016-17 will be as per the decision of Shikshan Shulka Samiti.


Attendance Criteria ::
As per University Rules, students have to attend minimum 75% lectures in each subject to qualify for taking the final examination at the end of the semester.

Course content is available on the website in admission section or in the Prospectus and we have four specializations i.e. Finance, Marketing, Human Resources & Operations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates seeking admission to MMS Course should be Graduate of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only). Candidates who appear for the final year examination of any Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the AIU can also apply. Such candidates can apply for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree examination with the percentage of marks mentioned above.

Candidates should have appeared for the Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2016) conducted by the DTE (15% seats will be filled by All India Quota). All should note that in this 15% All India Quota Seats will be filled through CAT(conducted by IIMs)/JMET (conducted by IITs)/MAT (conducted by AIMA in February 2016)/XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ATMA (conducted by AIMS) & CMAT (conducted by the AICTE) and should have obtained the requisite score.
