Here are the details:

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

 Admission to all the courses are routed through Admission Committee constituted for the purpose.

  • The first and subsequent cut-off lists will be put up on the college notice board for each programme by the college on the dates as per the Admission Schedule announced by the University of Delhi.
  • If eligible, completed form should be submitted in the college office as per dates notified in the Delhi University schedule, and further announced by the college.
  • A separate Cut-off list will be put up on the college notice board for OBC students.
  • No individual intimation regarding admission will be sent to the applicants
  • Candidates who qualify according to the criteria stated herein and have applied for admission to the College will report to the Departmental Admission in- Charge with all the following documents:
  1.  Provisional pass certificate from the institution last attended.
  2. Marks sheet of the qualifying examination passed.
  3. Secondary School Certificate (class X) issued by the Board/University for verification of date of birth.
  4. Character certificate from the institution last attended.
  5. Three copies of recent passport size photographs.
  6. Proof of residence/permanent address must be furnished. It will be verified and if found incorrect, admission will be cancelled.

 

  • After obtaining the recommendations of the departmental admission incharge, the candidate will meet designated office assistants for verification of the documents submitted along with the admission form.
  • After the documents are verified the candidate will report to the Convenor of Admission Committee for confirmation of candidature.
  • On getting his/her candidature confirmed, the candidate will meet the Principal of the college along with his/her parent/guardian. After having met the Principal the admission will be confirmed and the candidate will deposit fees with the college bank only in cash.

 

Candidate who gets the Fee Slip from office but fails to deposit the fee in the stipulated time of that particular list can’t claim his admission on the basis of that slip in the subsequent lists.

 

 Note:  

  • Admission Committee works on notified days from 9 a.m to 1 p.m only.
  • The Admission form must be filled in CAPITAL LETTERS only.
  • The college may deny admission to an applicant if (s) he fails to submit one/more of the documents listed above.
  • Forms, incomplete in any respect, will be rejected.
  • Seeking admission on the basis of false information or identity, misrepresentation or by submitting false certificates/documents is unlawful and will cause cancellation of admission. Such cases may also be reported to the police by the college.
  • Student can submit self-attested copies of documents. However, if any false attestation/falsified records are detected, the student will be debarred from attending any course in the University or its colleges for next five years, in addition, a criminal case under relevant sections of IPC (Viz. 470,471,474) will be instituted against him/her, to subject him/her to the requisite criminal proceedings.
  • In case of any difficulty, student can meet any of the members of the College Admission Committee, Convener of Admission Committee or the Principal.
  • The Principal will be available to the students and parents for redressal of their grievances during specified hours.
