The fee structure for B.E (EEE) in Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, [NMIT] Bangalore is given below,

Fee Structure ::

  • Tuition fee for B. E. admitted through CET: INR 45,000 per year
  • Tuition fee for B. E. admitted through COMED-K : INR 1,50,000 per year

Other fee/ University fee payable at the time of admission for the academic year 2015-16:

  • Admitted through CET/PGCET - INR 30,000
  • Admitted through COMED-K - INR 35,000

ACADEMIC YEAR 2016-17

  • Tuition fee for the Academic Year 2016-17 is yet to be fixed by the Government of Karnataka/ COMED-K
  • Other fees for the Academic Year 2016-17 is yet to be fixed by the management.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Graduation and a bachelors degree in Science or Engineering discipline obtained through the 10+2+4 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates

The fee structure and eligibility criteria for MBA in Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, [NMIT] Bangalore is as follows :

Admission through PGCET :

Government of Karnataka conducts PGCET tentatively during the month of July/ August. 50% of the total intake of the seats is to be filled through this test. For details please visit www.kea.kar.nic.in during the month of May/June.

Admission through Management quota :

50% of the total intake of the seats is to be filled through management quota. Candidates with PGCET / K-MAT/ C-MAT Score are eligible to apply during the month of June / July. Students can approach the Admission Office (in the campus) directly in person for queries or can mail us on admissions@nmit.ac.in

Admission through SNQ quota for FN/ PIO/ NRI/ students whose parents work in Gulf countries:

AICTE has approved 15% extra seats for foreign nationals/PIO/NRI/students whose parents work in Gulf countries over and above the sanctioned intake. For more details can log on to www. nmit.ac.in/admissions/foreign admissions or can mail to:naikphd@gmail.com

Academic Eligibility for MBA :

Admission to MBA course shall be open for the candidates who have passed the bachelor degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% i.e., integer (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in aggregate of all the years of the degree examination. However, in case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1, the aggregate percent of the marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than 45%. (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted)

Entrance exam eligibility: PGCET/ K-MAT/C-MAT

Admission to B. E is through CET, COMED –K, management quota.

Admission through CET :

Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test tentatively in the month of April every year. Karnataka domicile students can apply for this test and the allotment of the seats is done online. 45% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through CET. In addition to this, 5% of Super numerary quota seats are also made available for the meritorious- economically weaker students with the tuition fee waiver provision. For more details, log on to the website: www.kea.kar.nic.in  during January/February.

Admission through COMED-K :

Consortium of the managements of the private colleges of Karnataka conducts this test tentatively in the month of May every year. Both, Karnataka & Non Karnataka students can appear for this test. 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through COMED-K test. For more details, log on to the website: www.comedk.org  during January/February.

Admission through management quota :

25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through management quota. Provisional admission formality starts in the month of April every year. Students can approach the Admission Office (in the campus) directly in person for queries or can mail us on admissions@nmit.ac.in 

Admission through SNQ quota for FN/ PIO/ NRI/ students whose parents work in Gulf countries :

Academic Eligibility for B.E. :

The student should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.
