The admission procedure for B.Tech(Computer Science and Engineering) in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, [JGEC] West Bengal is as follows :

  • Admission is done through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Examination Admissions Board (WBJEEB). For details regarding criteria and other formalities, please refer to the Joint Entrance website.

  • Lateral admissions are done through the Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry (JELET), also conducted by WBJEEB.

  • The college is affliated to the West Bengal University of Technology(WBUT).

  • The following table shows a distribution of seats available for admission for undergraduate students.
