There are three main sections in the application form of WBJEE 2019. They are as follow:
Personal and Academic details,
Uploading images and
Payment of Fee
Go to the WBJEE 2019 website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
Follow "WBJEE" on the screen among other exams. This page has a candidate login tab. You have to follow the "Apply Online" as shown in the image below, to begin the registration.
After clicking on "Proceed to apply online", an application form will appear on the page. Candidates will have to enter their name, father's name and other details. The password and security question/answer.
After entering the details, you have to click on "submit" to finish the process.
Once you finish this stage, you will be receiving an SMS to your previously registered mobile number.
After receiving an SMS, candidates can either continue to the next step or log out and fill the rest of the form later.
Notes:
The details of the application form, once submitted cannot be changed by anyone at any later stages. So you should make sure no error is committed while filling the form.
You should not reveal your password and security question/answer to anyone for any reasons. It strictly advised maintaining the confidentiality of the information.
Your password and security question/answer should be preserved for future reference, as they cannot be recovered or regenerated.
The details mentioned in WBJEE 2019 application form should be matching the details in the marks cards and other documents.
The candidates from the states of West Bengal, Assam and Tripura can choose any 3 zones in the order of their preference. But, students from other states have to choose any 3 among the following 4 zones only, in the order of their preference:
Kolkata
Howrah
North 24 Parganas
South 24 Parganas
After submitting the application form, candidates have to submit scanned copies of their photograph and signature.
You should make sure the photograph is recently taken, with a white background, and face occupies 50% of it. Also, you should not be wearing spectacle or tinted glass in the photograph and not of low quality like taken on a mobile phone.
Images of the signature and photograph should be according to the dimension and size mentioned in the below table.

You should make sure to keep a few hard copies of the same photograph to produce in the later stages like during counseling, admission to the university etc.
The next step after uploading the images is paying the fees for the examination.
You have to go to the home page of the official website of WBJEE and click on "Fee payment".
Then the candidates have to select a mode of payment and click on "Proceed for payment". The fee can be paid through debit card/credit card or net banking modes.
You have to pay the application fee of Rs. 500/- and this fee will not be refunded in any circumstance.
After the payment is done, you are redirected to the confirmation page, thus completing the application process. If you are not redirected to the confirmation page, it means you have not successfully completed the application.
You should download and take 2 printouts of the confirmation page and keep it safe.
Notes:
Domicile: Only those candidates who possess a domicile in West Bengal can claim domicile reservation for the WBJEE 2019.
Reservation: Different rules regarding WBJEE 2019 Reservation are applicable for different universities and institutes. The reservation details can be availed from the Merit List generated after the examinations.
Correction Window: You can make any necessary changes if any in the application form during the correction window. But, no changes can be done to your name, father's name, mother's name, gender, and date of birth. Also, should note that any request to correction beyond correction window to the board will not be entertained at any circumstances. So make sure you check and correct the application form during the stipulated window.
Loss of Application Confirmation Page: In case you have lost the confirmation page and do not have any soft copy either then you can make a request of confirmation page by paying a processing fee of Rs. 500/- by bank draft in the name of "West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam" payable in Kolkata.
Application process: Candidate must fill the application and submit his/her personal details, the system generates a unique 7-digit numeric application number for that particular candidate. Once a WBJEE Application Number is generated, the candidate is allowed to log out of the current system.
Future reference: The candidates are advised to use this system generated Application Number along with his/her date of birth for any future login to the system. So, it is important that the candidate store his/her application number accurately.
