UKSEE 2019 Introduction

  • About: Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) is a state level entrance examination conducted for admission into various courses such as B.Pharm, Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHMCT), M.C.A, and lateral entry to II year MCA & B.Tech in different private, self-financed and government colleges of Uttarakhand. 

  • Grandiosity: The Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun was established on 27th January 2005 by Govt. of Uttarakhand through the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005.

  • Conducting Body: UKSEE is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University every academic year for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

  • Courses Offered: Through UKSEE 2019, candidates can get admission in Bachelor's as well as Master’s programmes such as B.Pharma, BHMCT, MCA, B.Tech, B.Pharma, MBA, M.Pharma, M.Tech, MCA (LE), B.Tech (LE), and B.pharma (LE).

  • Number of Seats: Around 33,000 students are expected to admission in various courses. There are 8 Constituent and 132 affiliated colleges under UTU.

  • Lateral Entries: Candidate having Uttarakhand State domicile will be eligible to take the lateral entry in the programmes such as B.Tech, B.Pharma, MCA.

UKSEE 2019 Important Dates

  • Registration: Application Form will be available on the official website of UTU official website from 15th April 2019 and the last date to submit the Application Form is 30th April 2019

  • Admit Card: After registering successfully, UTU Admit Card will be issued online for the candidates on 6th May 2019

  • Examination: UKSEE will be conducted offline i.e. Pen & Paper-based Test (PPT) on 10th May 2019.

  • Results: Result will be declared by UTU on the official website on 24th May 2019.

  • Counselling: Once the result has been declared and the candidates who have qualified will be called for the counselling process which will commence from 15th June 2019.

UKSEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: 

    • Bachelor of Engineering & Technology (LE) - Candidates should have passed diploma with minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ ST category candidates. 

    • Pharmacy - Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology with minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ ST category candidates. 

    • Hotel Management - Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with English as a compulsory subject and minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ ST category candidates. 

    • Master of Computer Application - Candidates should have passed a Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ ST category candidates. 

    • Master of Business Administration - Candidates should have passed a Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ ST category candidates. 

    • Master of Technology - Candidates should have passed a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ ST category candidates. 

  • Domicile: Those candidates who have passed/are appearing in the qualifying examination from/in other states, but have domicile of Uttarakhand are eligible to apply for admission under Uttarakhand quota.

UKSEE 2019 Syllabus

  • UKSEE 2019 Syllabus will comprise of subjects from the secondary level and graduate level.

  • Syllabus for UKSEE will depend upon the course which the candidates have applied for and is as listed below:

UKSEE 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Mode: UKSEE will be conducted offline i.e. (Pen & Paper-based Test). 

  • Questions: The question paper will contain 9 papers with Multiple Choice Question's (MCQ's) and each paper has a different duration.

  • Marks: Candidates will be awarded +1 mark for the correct response and there is No Negative Marking.

  • Medium: The medium of question paper will be English.

UKSEE 2019 Application Form

  • Registration Date: Application Form will be available on the official website of UKSEE from 15th April 2019 and the last date to submit the Application Form is on 30th April 2019

  • Registration Fee: Registration Fee will be INR 1500 for General/ OBC category candidates and INR 750 for SC/ ST category candidates. It should be paid during the submission of the Application Form

  • Document Upload: Scanned passport size photograph and signature will also be required to upload in the Application Form

  • Receipt: After the final submission, they have to collect the payment receipt and submit it to the Study Centre for confirmation of admission.

UKSEE 2019 Exam Centre

  • Exam Centre: UKSEE 2019 will be conducted in various centres across India.

  • Committee: The Coordination Center Committee UKSEE has the right to allot or cancel any Exam Centre.

  • Choice: Coordination Committee will make every possible effort to allocate centres to candidates as per their preference or to the nearest place opted by the candidates

  • Id Proof: Candidate should carry Admit Card and a valid Government Id proof to the Exam Centre.

  • Note: If there are less than 20 students at any centre (online), then the centre will be considered offline. The detail of the online/ offline mode of examination will be mentioned in Admit Card

UKSEE 2019 Admit Card

  • Issue Date: UKSEE 2019 Admit Card will be available from 6th May 2019.

  • Preserve: Candidate must preserve the Admit Card till the admission process is over. 

  • Exam Centre: The Admit Card must be carried along to the Exam Centre, if failed then the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

UKSEE 2019 Results

  • Result Date: The results of UKSEE 2019 along with Answer Keys will be released on 24th May 2019.

  • Merit List: Based on the performance of candidates in UKSEE 2019, separate merit list will be prepared for each course. 

  • Scorecard: Merit Position, Scorecard with total marks, marks obtained in each subject and Answer Keys shall be available on website after the declaration of result. 

  • Tie Break:

    • Incorrect Answers: A candidate giving a lesser number of incorrect answers will be placed at higher merit.

    • Age: A candidate with higher age will be placed at higher merit.

    • Score: A candidates who have secured high marks in the qualifying examination will be placed at higher merit

UKSEE 2019 Counselling

  • Counselling Date: UKSEE 2019 Counselling (Offline) will commence from 15th June 2019 which will be held at the university campus.

  • Counselling Fee: Candidates who will be selected for counselling will have to submit ₹1000 in the form of DD in favour of Finance Controller, UTU payable at Dehradun at the time of counselling.

  • State Quota: Candidates will be getting available state and state quota seats on the merit cum choice basis.

  • Lateral Entry Seats: Lateral entry seats will be filled only by Uttarakhand candidates only.

  • Authority Decision: The decisions taken by the examination authority for admissions of students for various government and private colleges will be considered as the final result.

General Instruction for UKSEE 2019

  • The applicants are required to fill the application form and fee by ONLINE mode. The examination fee shall not be refunded under any circumstances. The candidates have to complete the online/offline application form in all respect and also to upload his/her photograph in the appropriate box.

  • The candidates are further advised to re-check the entries/information provided by him/her before submitting the same as there is no option for editing the entries after submission of application form. After submitting the form, the candidate is required to take the print of the submitted form (hard copy). The candidates are advised to retain the copy of the form submitted to the University for their further reference and queries.

  • Only appearing in the UKSEE does not confer any rights to secure a seat in UKSEE course state quota seats. The selection and admission to UKSEE course on state quota seats in any institute are subject to fulfilling all the eligibility criteria, state reservation policy etc. Mentioned in the Information Brochure and/ or amendments made thereafter till the time of counselling.

  • The fee shall neither be carried forward to a future date not refunded under any circumstances.

  • In case the information provided by the candidate found wrong in the application form, his/her application will be summarily rejected. If any candidate secures admission in the college/institute by providing wrong information in his/her application, detected later on in due course, his/her admission will be cancelled at the cost and risk of the candidate.

  • Candidates’ eligibility is purely provisional and is subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed in this Information Brochure, during subsequent verifications of his/her documents at counselling, admission or afterwards.

  • University reserves the right to withdraw permission, if any, granted inadvertently to any candidate who is not eligible to appear in the UKSEE even though his/her admit card/ roll number has been issued.

  • Instructions in the Information Brochure are liable to change based on decisions consciously taken by the University/Counselling Board/Technical Education Department, Uttarakhand Government from time to time. There is no equity or any rights that are/ or deemed to be arising in favour of a candidate.

  • The candidate must ensure before filling the application form that he/she fulfils the eligibility requirements for admission/appearing in the entrance examination. Change of category is not permitted at the later stage. The fee once paid shall not be refunded in the event of rejection of the application. Only eligible candidates will be considered for admission.

  • The candidates are advised to give their complete mailing address, ID proof details and correct contact telephone numbers and email in the application form.

  • The records of the Entrance Examination & Counselling shall be preserved only for a period of one year from the date of the Entrance examination.

  • In all the matters relating to examination and admission, the decision of University/ Counselling Board and Government of Uttarakhand as the case may be shall be final.

  • A candidate found using unfair means in the Entrance Examination will invite cancellation of his/her result, non-refund of examination fee and punishment as may be deemed proper by the Examination Committee of the University and as per the provision of law.

  • In case of any ambiguity in the interpretation of any of the instructions/terms/rules/criteria, the determination of eligibility/conduct of examinations/registration of candidate/information contained herein, the interpretation of the University/Counselling Board as the case may be, will be final and binding.
