TS LAWCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligibility Check: The candidates are advised to check the TS LAWCET 2019 eligibility criteria before they fill the online Application form.

  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian National.

  • Domicile: The candidates must also satisfy the Local/ Un-reserved status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions Order.

  • Important Dates: The eligible candidates must be aware all the important dates and events related to the exam.

  • Admit Card: The admit cards of the candidates who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be issued. 

TS LAWCET 2019 Eligibility for 3-Year LLB:

  • Minimum Qualification: The applicant must have completed the graduation degree or its equivalent from any recognized university.

  • Minimum Marks: The candidates must score at least 45% of aggregate marks in their graduation. The candidates who belong to ST/SC category will be given a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.

NOTE:

  • If the candidate had scored less than 45% in graduation then he/she must pass in any additional graduation or post graduation degree with 45% aggregate marks.

  • There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the qualifying examinations for 3 year Law course in favor of the candidates belonging to SC/ ST Category.

  • The percentage of 39.5% and above in aggregate in graduation in case of candidates belongs to SC/ST category and 44.5% and above in aggregate in graduation in case of candidates belongs other categories will be considered as 40% and 45% for admission into 3-year LLB course.

TS LAWCET 2019 Eligibility for 5-Year LLB:

  • Minimum Qualification: The candidates must have passed two-year Intermediate Exam/ Class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized board or the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana.

  • Minimum Marks: The candidate who belongs to general category must score a minimum of 45% of aggregate marks in Class 12th. SC/ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks. 

NOTE:

  • There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 5 year Law course in favor of the Candidates belonging to SC/ ST category.

  • The percentage of 39.5% or above in aggregate in Intermediate (10+2 Pattern) in case of candidates belongs to SC/ST category and 44.5% or above in aggregate in Intermediate (10+2 Pattern) in case of candidates belongs other categories will be considered as 40% and 45% for admission into LLB 5 year course.


LAWCET 2019 Eligibility for 2-Year LLM:

  • Minimum Qualification: The Candidates who have completed LLB or BA LLB degree (3 or 5 years) will be eligible for TS LAWCET 2019 exam.

  • Final Year Candidates: The candidates who will be appearing for LLB/BL Final year examination are also eligible.

  • Experience: The Candidates must have a minimum experience of 3-years as a judicial officer or 3-years standing as an advocate.
