SSC CGL 2019 Exam Eligibility Criteria

  • Recruitment: Candidates who fulfil the SSC CGL eligibility criteria can take part in the SSC CGL Recruitment. This process is conducted based on the available vacancy.
  • Eligibility: Before filling the SSC CGL application form 2019 candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria.


SSC CGL 2019 Exam Eligibility - Based on Education:

  • Assistant Audit Officer: Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University or Institute.

  • Statistical Investigator Grade II: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at the 12th standard level or Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects.

  • Compiler: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as a subject.

  • All other posts: Candidates should have a Bachelors degree from a recognized university or institute. For posts of Assistant Section Officer in CSS, Computer Proficiency Test is also required.

SSC CGL 2019 Exam Eligibility - Based on Nationality:

A candidate must be either:

  • A citizen of India

  • A subject of Nepal

  • A subject of Bhutan

  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,

  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
