The RRB NTPC Application process got started in the month of March and candidates were given over a month to apply. The RRB NTPC application form is available on the official website. In this section, the whole process for applying is given in order to clear the ambiguities that the candidate may encounter during the process.

Candidates who fulfil the RRB NTPC eligibility criteria should proceed towards filling the application form in the following way:

RRB NTPC 2019 Application Process:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the RRB NTPC Exam i.e www.indianrailways.gov.in and click on the "Recruitment" Tab. Under the "Recruitment" tab, the candidate should select the desired Region of RRB.

Step 2: Different regions have a different layout and from there you can click on the application download link. The first link is for ALP and Technician post. The second link is to other posts:

Step 3: After clicking for the other posts, you will be redirected to a new page, where you have to register yourself for the RRB NTPC Exam.

Step 4: A new window will get open, where the candidate has to enter various educational and Personal details.

Step 5: Once you've registered, the application form can be filed.

Step 6: Complete the payment procedure and get the form printed for future use.

RRB NTPC 2019 Application guidelines:

Invalid Applications/Rejections

Online applications are bound to get rejected the RRBs on the following grounds:

  • Black and White photo, photo with a cap or wearing goggles, photos which are damaged or unclear, size is too small, if 50% is not just the face, only one side view of the face, candidate is unrecognizable, group photo, photos without name and date and online application submitted without photo among others.

  • If the candidate submits multiple application at different RRBs or at same RRB.

  • Candidate's name figuring in the debarred list of any RRB/RRC.

If the application of a candidate is rejected, the candidate will be able to view the status of the application and the reason for rejection on the official website of the RRB. The decision made by the RRB is final and binding and no further correspondence shall be entertained regarding the issue.

No Refund will be given in the case if the application is rejected.

SMS and e-mail alerts will also be sent to the candidates on their mobile numbers and e-mail IDs respectively that they have provided at the time of registering for the exam.

Application Process for IBPS RRB 2017 is:

  • Visit the website of RRB that you wish to apply
  • Click on the appropriate link 
  • Make sure that you should have relevant documents like a photograph, signature, educational and other certificates in proper format which are required to be uploaded during the registration process.
  • Fill in the required details, choose exam center & complete the order of preference for each post
  • Upload your photo & signature if required
  • Use proper payment mode (if applicable) as mentioned in the instructions. This may include either make payment through Bank Challan Form or Debit/Credit/Master/Visa Card or Demand Draft.
  • Submit application & take a print of the acknowledgment for future reference.

Follow the instructions on the screen to get your registration number & password for this recruitment.

There is no Interview (Viva Voce) after the written examination. For a very few specific (Group A & B) categories there is a Viva after the written exam, while for certain other categories there is a Skill Test (like typing test or stenography test) and for categories related to operational safety like Assistant Station Master, Assistant Loco Pilot, there will be an Aptitude Test

There will be an aptitude test for those who are applying under operational safety.

If a candidate applies for posts like Assistant Station Master, Assistant Loco Pilot etc, they will have to give an aptitude test.

There are exemptions for the following:
