RPSC Introduction

To fill the civil services posts in the State of Rajasthan, the RPSC conducts the recruitment examinations. The full form of RPSC is Rajasthan Public Service Commission. It is a Government authorized body, which regulates the Government jobs of Rajasthan and is responsible for filling the Civil Services vacancies.

  • Headquarters: The headquarters of Rajasthan Public Service Commission are situated at Ghoogra Ghati, Ajmer Rajasthan.

  • Scope: The RPSC 2019 Exam will be conducted for the various posts in Medical, The Panchayati Raj, Education, Water Resources, Construction, Town Planning and other departments also.

  • Expected Dates: The RPSC 2019 is expected to be conducted in February 2019 and Prelims Exam dates will be updated soon.

  • Exam Pattern: The RPSC 2019 will have two sets of 2 papers.

    • Paper-1: Paper-1 will consist of objective type questions and the syllabus is General Knowledge, Everyday Science & Mathematics.

    • Paper-2: Paper-2 will consist of objective type questions and the syllabus is General Hindi and English.

  • Expected Vacancies: The vacancies released for RPSC 2019 are expected to be around 84,000.

RPSC 2019 Syllabus

  • The syllabus of the Prelims Examination (Paper-I) is purely based on History, Civics, Geography, Economics, General Knowledge (about Rajasthani culture, India and the World) and Current Affairs.

  • The syllabus of Mains Examination (Paper-II) is based on the Aptitude, Reasoning, basic knowledge of English and Hindi along with the technical aspects of the post for which the applicant has applied for.

RPSC 2019 Exam Pattern

  • The Preliminary Exam (Paper-I) will have 150 questions and will be of 200 marks. The time duration of this exam will be of 3 hours.

  • The Mains Exam (Paper-II) will have 4 papers which will be of 200 marks each.

RPSC 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates who satisfy every required criterion for a particular post are eligible to apply for that particular post.

  • If the candidature is found to be ineligible for the post that he has applied for, his/ her candidature will be cancelled.

RPSC 2019 Application Form

  • Application forms will be released on the official website for various posts.

  • Application fees have to be paid Online and candidates must keep the tansaction ID with them till the completion of application form submission.

  • Admit cards will be issued 15 prior to the concerned examination.

  • Stage-1: Preliminary Examination
  • The preliminary exam will have one paper which will consist of the questions from the domain of:
    • Geography
    • Civics
    • History
    • General Knowledge

  • Stage-2: Mains Examination
  • The mains examination of RPSC 2019 will have 4 papers:
    • General Studies-I
    • General Studies-II
    • General Studies-III

The mains examination will be comprised of the questions from the Quantitative Ability (QA), Logical Reasoning (LR), Data interpretation (DI) and the Technical domain of the post for which the candidate has applied.
