PU LLB 2019 Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the Panjab University to be able to write the PU LLB 2019 Exam.

Below mentioned are the Eligibility Criteria, a candidate needs to fulfill:

PU LLB 2019 Eligibility criteria

  • Qualifications: The candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of bachelor's degree or master's degree of the Panjab University or any other university (Recognized by BCI) in any discipline or course with at least 45% of the aggregate marks are eligible. 5% concession is applied for reserved categories in eligibility criteria( SC/ST/PWD)

  • Age Limit: There is no limit for the age to apply for the PU LLB 2019 exam. Candidate with any age can apply for the exam.

  • Weightage: The criteria is based on the evaluation of weightage given to both academics and the PU Entrance test in the ratio 50:50.

  • Dialect (language) Preference: If a Candidate has a four year certification from Panjab University or some other, having present-day Indian dialects (Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi) or potentially established dialect (Sanskrit/Persian/Arabic), at that point the total of 45% aggregate will be assessed by taking the level of total imprints he/she secured in the dialect papers.

  • Post-graduates: The candidates who have done post-graduation or who have a valid post-graduate degree, are eligible to apply for the PU LLB 2019 examination.

Note:

  • Essential Qualifications: The Candidates who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post graduation through open universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in LL.B. course.

  • Foreign/Overseas Candidates: Eligible Foreign Nationals/NRI Candidates/Persons of Indian Origin, who are in India and desire to seek admission in this category, will compete amongst themselves for the seats created for them by appearing in the PU LLB Entrance Test.

  • Exemption: Those living abroad at the time of entrance test will be exempted from the test.

  • Application Form: The candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria may proceed to fill the PU LLB 2019 Application Form.
