PU CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria for giving the PU CET exam.

  • Nationality: The candidates must be Indian in order to apply for PU CET.

  • Age Bar: For BHMS Candidates must complete the 17 years as on 31st December at the time of admission.

  • Qualifying Exam: The candidates must have passed/appeared for 10+2 from a CBSE, Delhi or any other equivalent boards to be eligible.

  • Minimum Marks: The candidates who have done 10+2 must have scored 50% of total marks.

  • Subjects: Candidates must have English, Physics, Chemistry as compulsory and one of the following: Biology/Biotechnology/ Mathematics in 12th class.

  • There is a 5% of relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ ST/ BC/ PWD candidates.

  • NRI: Non-Resident Indians can apply via NRI quota to get the eligibility criteria

Reservation system for PU CET 2019:

  • For the Physically Handicapped person is provided as follows:

1st preference

Candidate  suffering from Locomotor disabilities of Lower Limbs between 50% - 70%

2nd preference

Candidates suffering from Locomotor Disabilities of Lower Limbs between 40% - 50%

  • Applicants will be enrolled under the eligibility criteria laid down by the Chandigarh Administration/Panjab University, Chandigarh.

  • Applicants who are blind, (including color blind) deaf, and dumb are not in the eligibility criteria.
