Application Form, Dates, Syllabus and Pattern for PU CET 2018:
Punjab University Common Entrance Test (PU CET) is organised by Punjab University, Chandigarh to grant admissions to aspirants seeking admission to the various undergraduate programs acclaimed as PU CET UG and Master’s degree programs acclaimed as PU CET PG offered by the university. PU CET entrance exam is conducted on a state level.
The interested candidates who have either already passed or have appeared (for the Academic Session 2018) in the 10+2 Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by any recognized Board/University/Council are eligible to appear in the PU – CET (U.G.) Entrance Test – 2018.
The PU CET is a mandatory examination for the students who are seeking admissions to B.Pharmacy (Credit Based Semester System) and B.Sc (Hons.) at PU Campus, and BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) at Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh.

Panjab university offers master's degree courses which include law, journalism,public health, disaster management,technology,engineering, arts and computer science.
The entrance exam for 2018 will be taking place on 4th June 2018. The online registration process will commence from 13th March 2018. In order to be eligible for appearing in the examination, the interested candidates are required to successfully complete 12th board examination from a recognised board.
The examination pattern for the science courses includes three sections. The questions will be asked from Physics/Chemistry/Biology or Mathematics based on the course that the interested candidate wants to pursue.
The results will be declared on 9th June 2018. The PU CET merit list will be completely based on the marks scored by the candidate in the PU CET Examination and based on the marks scored by the students in the PU CET exam, the rankings will be publishhed.
The candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks in PU CET and only those candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks in PU CET are allowed to participate in the counselling process.
Candidates who are interested in seeking admission under the NRI category, who are present in India at the time of PU CET Entrance Test, will compete amongst themselves by appearing in the PU CET (U.G.) Entrance Test-2018.
NRI candidates who are interested in seeking admission under PU CET, but are living abroad at the time of PU CET entrance Test, will be exempted from the PU CET entrance test.
