How to Apply for MHT CET 2019

If you are interested in applying for the MHT CET 2019 for the admissions to the course you will have to fill the MHT CET 2019 Application Form through online mode only. The MHT CET 2019 Application Form is now available on the Official Website from 18th January 2019. You can visit the Official website and register for MHT CET 2019. 

Step I: Generating password

  • Click on " apply online" on the MHT CET 2019 Application form

  • For MHT CET 2019  online registration, You will have to provide a valid email address and contact number so that password and login details might be communicated through it on a timely basis.

  • A security question has to be chosen. The password must be 8-13 character long with at least one character of the upper case, lower case, alphanumeric and special characters.

Step II: Filling the Personal Details

  • After the completion of registering your email id, you will get the login details after which you will have to log in through those details and fill the MHT CET 2019 application form wherein you have to enter personal details, contact details and basic details such as;

Candidate name

Father's name

Mother's name

Date of Birth

Address

City

District

Pincode

Country

Email Id

Contact Number 

Category (SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD), etc.

  • Click on "Save and Proceed" to open the page for contact details.

  • You will have to fill the reservation field if any.

  • You will have to enter your Adhaar card no, religion etc as shown below

  • You will have to enter your bank details.

  • You will have to specify your qualifications and the last qualifying examination.
    • SSC Examination details- Obtained Marks, Total Marks and Percentage of he/she obtained and proceed to upload a latest scanned photograph of maximum 100 KB size.

    • HSC Exam details such has Institution Name, Address, District of College and Place of MHT CET 2019 Centres.

  • You will have to select the subjects of your choice to take up the exam among the given exams.
  • You will have to choose the password and enter the same in the space provided.

  • You will have to enter the security key and click on "I Agree" and submit the MHT CET 2019 online form.

Step III: Uploading the details

  • Photograph and Signature: You will have to upload your prescanned photograph and signature as per the specification while filling the application form.

  • After mentioning all academic details MHT CET 2019 and proceed to upload a latest scanned photograph of maximum 100 KB size.

  • A digital signature has to be uploaded, provided it is less than 30 KB in size.

  • Preview all images and save the same.

Step IV: Payment Details

  • Move on to make the payment for the MHT CET 2019 Application Form by clicking on ''Continue'' tab.

  • Application Fee: You have to deposit Rs.800 (Rs.600 for reserved category) as necessary MHT CET 2019 fee.
  • Payment: You will have to make the payment through online( Debit card, Credit card, Net Banking, e-wallet etc) or offline mode(download the SBI Bank Challan, print it on A4 size paper).

  • Payment Succesful: Once you are done with successful payment, the MHT CET 2019 application process is completed.

  • Printout: Take the printout of the MHT CET 2019 application form for future use.


Guidelines to Upload Photographs for MHT CET 2019 Application Form:

Uploading Photograph with proper format and size in MHT CET 2019 Application Form

Recent passport Size photo

Take your recent colour passport size photograph and the picture should be taken against a light/white background. In case the face in the photograph is not clear, your application is liable to be rejected.

Candidate should upload a scanned/digital photograph.

File Size

The Scanned Passport Size Photograph should be between 15 KB to 50 KB Size otherwise it will not be allowed by the System to upload.

Resize photo

 Crop the Image of the passport size photograph in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor. Please ensure that only the full face portion is cropped and not the entire photograph. 


Guidelines to Upload Signature for MHT CET 2019 Application Form:

Uploading Signature with proper format and Size

Pen Colour

The candidate himself/herself should sign (no capital letters) on a white paper with a black ink pen.

Format & Size

Scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings and the file size should be between 5 KB to 20 KB in JPG format.

Resize Signature

Crop the image of the signature. Please ensure that only the signature portion is cropped and not the entire A4 paper on which you have signed.

  • Note: To ensure whether the photograph and signature are in the specified format and size, you can follow the below steps:

    • Step 1: Open the digital or scanned photograph or signature in MS Paint by right-clicking the photograph or signature.

    • Step 2: Press Ctrl+W, a window will open which will have an option 'resize by %'. Here enter anything between 10%  to 50% and save the file with an extension.jpg.

    • Step 3: Check for the size of the file in 'properties'. If the file size is still not between 15 KB to 50 KB for Photograph and 5 KB to 20 KB, once again open in paint and resize it to bring it to within specified range.

    • Step 4: Repeat this process until the file size is between the specified range. Save this file with the name photo.jpg and sign.jpg

Once photograph and signature files are uploaded by the candidate successfully, the system will show on the screen that the files have been uploaded. If these files have been correctly uploaded, you should now proceed further to make the online payment.


Writer/Scribe for a Person with Disability (PWD)

  • Eligibility: The eligible (Person having not less than 40% disability) Orthopedically Handicapped (not in a position to write), Blind, Low Vision, the person affected with Cerebral Palsy and Learning Disability/ Dyslexia can avail a scribe/writer for the MHT CET 2019 Examination.

  • Not Provided: The scribe/ writer shall be arranged by you at the discretion of your own cost. The Competent Authority shall not provide scribe/ writer to you at the examination hall/ examination centre.

  • Must Mention: If you want to avail scribe/ writer has to indicate willingness at the time of online submission of MHT CET 2019 Application Form.

  • Declaration: You will have to fill the declaration form for scribe/writer in the prescribed format. The MHT CET 2019 prescribed format can be downloaded from the online system.

  • Contact Number: For more details, candidates can contact MHT CET Conducting Authority by calling on (022) 22652261/22652262.

  • Photographs: Paste photographs of the candidate and the scribe/ writer and put signatures and submit this declaration form before reporting to the MHT CET hall on the examination day to the Sub­Center In-charge.

  • Disability Certificate: you will have to produce the disability certificate in original along with MHT CET 2019 Admit Card to the Sub-Center In-charge at the time of MHT CET 2019 examination.

  • Exam Duration(Compensatory): If you are availing the facility of scribe/writer shall be given the compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of MHT CET 2019 (30 minutes compensatory time for the one and half hour duration paper). You can also go through the MHT CET 2019 paper pattern for brief knowledge. 

  • Essentials: Low Vision, the person affected by Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability/Dyslexia candidate shall be given the compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of MHT CET 2019 even if not availing the facility of scribe/writer. Such candidates should declare Low Vision while filling the online MHT CET application form 2019.

  • Note: Under unavoidable circumstances, the scribe/writer can be changed with the permission of the Sub-Centre In-charge of the MHT CET 2019 Centres allotted to the candidate.

Correction on MHT CET Application Form

The changes in the last name of my Dad and my Date of Birth is not getting changed. Even after editing, it remains the same. So what do I do?

The candidates interested for MHT CET can fill the form online. If any change is required to be made on the MHT CET Application Form, the candidate can make it through the following:

  • The candidate will be asked to verify the data entered on your MHT CET Application Form after you click "NEXT" on the Registration Page.
  • The candidate can view the complete data and can make any changes.
  • To rectify, the candidate has to click on "Back" button on the screen to make changes.
  • Once you have submitted the data online, you may choose to "Edit" the information.
  • If you find that the data correct by all means, click "Upload Photograph & Signature".
  • Once you have submitted the data, "Edit Profile" link will appear after you login to the website using your unique application no. and password. 
  • Please note that no change in the three name fields (Candidate's First Name, Father's / Husband's First Name, Last Name), Date of Birth, Email and Mobile No is possible.

Bank charges for application fee for MHT CET

What is the bank charges which is to be paid along with the application fee?

The candidate is supposed to pay bank charges of Rs.60 along with the application fee.

The application fee is Rs. 800/- for general candidates and Rs. 600/- for reserved categories.

When is the last day for payment of application fee through offline mode?

The last day for payment of application fee through offline mode is March 28th, 2017.

The application fee for General Category and Foreign Nationals is Rs. 800.

The application fee for Reserved Category is Rs. 600.

Editing MHT CET application form

Are candidates allowed to edit data filled online in the MHT CET application form?

The candidate is allowed to edit the application form while registering online.

If the data is correct, candidates are requested to click on “Upload Photograph & Signature”.

However, after submission of form online, the Candidates name and father/husband's name cannot be edited.

The MHT CET 2017 eligibility criteria for Health Sciences is given below:

  • The candidate must have been born on or before 31 December 2000.
  • For Ayurvedic and Unani medicine course, this date must be on or before 1 October 2000.
  • The candidates must have a certificate of medical fitness to be eligible.
  • The candidate must have passed the 10th Board exam from a school under the Maharashtra State Board to be eligible.
  • The candidate must have passed the 12th Board exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects to be eligible.

  • The application fees for the MHT CET examination is  INR 800 (+ 60 INR for bank commission) for General, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and Outside Maharashtra Resident candidates.
  • The application fees for the MHCET examination is  INR 600 for reserved quota candidates.
  • The payment can be made via debit or credit card or via net banking.
  • Payment can be made via a challan payable via cash at a State Bank of India branch.

What do I do if I’ve forgotten the password set during the registration process?

You cannot retrieve the forgotten password. But, it is possible to create a new one by clicking the “Forgot password” link. The candidate is required to enter details like MHT CET Application No., Date of Birth and Mother's First Name as filled at the time of registration.
The data provided by the candidate will be validated with the information available in the candidate's registered database. And if both the data match, then the system will provide you with a link to create the new password.

No, you don't. All you have to do is fill up the form with all the relevant details in the fields provided. These would be all your basic information like birth date, residential address, contact details like mobile no, email id etc and SSC marks details, etc.
