About MHT CET: Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. Aspirants through this exam will get admissions into a full-time degree courses, drug store and science courses like B.Tech, B.Pharm, and Pharm.D.
Application Trend: Every year, over 4 lakh candidates take part in MHT CET. Notifications related to MHT CET 2019 will be published by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
Conducting Body: MHT CET 2019 will be conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Government of Maharashtra.
Level: It is a state level selection test.
Courses: MHT CET offers admission into courses like Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) and Pharmacy (B.Pharm/Pharm D.) as well as some allied health sciences programs in the Government aided and private universities/institutions in Maharashtra.
MHT CET Registration: Candidates can register from the end of February 2019 on the official website. MHT CET 2019 Application forms are available only in online mode, there are no other provisions to obtain the application form.

Nationality: The candidate appearing for MHT CET 2019 should be a citizen of India.
Age Criteria: There is no age limit to appear for this examination.
Minimum Qualification: Candidates have to pass 10+2 to be eligible for MHT CET 2019.

Questions: The questions for MHT CET 2019 will be based on the syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Changes in the Syllabus: Syllabus now includes additional new topics from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics from the XI standard.

Number of papers: 3 (Paper-1 & 3 for Engineering & Pharmacy and Paper-1 & 2 for Health Science Courses)
Duration: For each paper, the candidates will be allotted 90 minutes. The time duration of the entire examination is from 10 a.m to 4:30 p.m.

The application form will be published by DTE Maharashtra by the first week of Feb 2019 in the official website of DTE, ie. dtemaharashtra.gov.in
Application forms can be filled through online mode by logging into the official website.
Applications will be accepted till last week of March 2019.

The admit card is equivalent to a hall ticket and can be downloaded from the official website of DTE Maharashtra by entering the candidate's login credentials.
The candidate needs to keep hard copies of admit card for future reference.

1. I have made a few errors while filling out the MHT CET application form. How do I rectify the errors?
For correction of any errors in the application form, you are required to send a letter along with your SSC marks sheet to MHT CET, Mumbai, the conducting authority. This letter must be sent before the declaration of MHT CET 2019 results.
2. What are the file size specifications for the photograph and signature for my MHT CET 2019 application form?
Make sure while uploading your photograph and signature files for the application form, they are 15 KB - 50 KB and 5 Kb - 50 KB respectively.
3. Am I required to go to the nearest CET Office to fill out my MHT CET 2019 Form?
No, you need not go anywhere to fill out your MHT CET 2019 Form, you can do it online from anywhere where you have an internet connection.
4. Do I have to upload any documents while applying for MHT CET 2019?
The application process for the MHT CET requires the candidates to only fill out basic information in the form, there is no need of uploading any documents to support the filled out information.
5. I am a resident of Karnataka applying for MHT CET 2019 and I am from the SC Category, will I be getting the SC/ST advantages?
No, only residents of Maharashtra are given the SC/ST benefits for MHT CET.

You will be able to download the MHT CET Admit Card from the official website - DTE Maharashtra after April 24th 2019
7. Is there negative marking for MHT CET 2019?
According to the MHT CET Exam Pattern and the marking scheme for MHT CET 2019, there are no negative markings for the exam.
MHT Cet 2019 Application dates: Application forms will be available from 31st January 2019 and candidates can fill up the form till 25th March 2019 .
Admit card: MHT CET 2019 Admit cards will be available online in the official website from 24th April 2019.
During the first login, the aspirant students are required to enter their details like- valid e-mail ID, mobile number and the password.
Candidates are required to upload their latest passport size photograph and signature (up to 50 KB per file). The uploaded file must be in JPEG format.
Candidates need to visit DTE Maharashtra website and download the MHT CET 2019 admit cards.
Exam center and date of examination will be mentioned on MHT CET 2019 Admit Card.
Any discrepencies regarding MHT CET 2019 Admit Card has to be reported to the concerned authority without much delay.
MHT CET 2019 will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) , where candidates will have to fill OMR sheets to answer correctly.
There will be no negative marking for incorrect answer.
Each subject in MHT CET 2019 examination will carry 50 marks, except mathematics, which will carry 100 marks.
MHT CET 2019 syllabus will be based on chapters on standard 10+2 of Maharashtra State Board.

MHT CET 2019 Counselling will be held through CAP ( Centralised Admission Process) .
Candidates will have to register for CAP and pay the counselling fees through ONLINE mode.
Third round of counselling will open the seats for General candidates that were being reserved previously for reserved categories.
