  • Registration: The online registration for the AIMA MAT 2018 has started. The registration window will close on 27th April 2018 (Friday). The AIMA MAT 2018 is conducted in two modes. One is the Paper-based test (PBT) i.e. offline mode and another one is Computer based test (CBT) which is an online mode.

  • Registration Date of Offline and Online Exam: As per news from AIMS, the offline version of MAT 2018 will be held in the 06th May 2018 and the online version will be held during the 20th May 2018.

  • Application Form: Candidates can start applying for MAT 2018 from 6th October 2018 and the registration process will be closed on 7th December 2018.

MAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Qualification: Candidate applied for MAT 2018 must have an undergraduate degree from the recognized university of minimum 3 years duration or equivalent in any discipline and those completing their final graduation exam may also apply.

  • Age Criteria: For MAT there are no age criteria. Candidate in any age can apply for MAT 2018.

  • Final Year Candidate: Candidate who are in final year of there graduation they can also apply for the MAT 2018. Candidate should make sure that they need to complete there graduation degree before the starting of management degree course.

  • Number of Attempts: Candidate can take MAT 2018 any number of times. There is no limitation of attending MAT 2018.

MAT 2018 Syllabus

  • Question Level: Syllabus for MAT 2018 is not defined. Questions will be designed to test the candidate's aptitude level.

  • Sections of the paper: The test will be divided into the following sections: Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, and Indian & Global Environment. 

  • Previous Year Paper: Candidates need to view previous year question papers of MAT to have an idea of present syllabus of MAT 2018.

MAT 2018 Exam Pattern

  • Mode: MAT 2018 is conducted online as well as offline. Candidate can attempt either one or both mode of exam.

  • Duration: Candidates has to complete the MAT 2018 in a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes i.e. 150 minutes.

  • Subject Wise Question Number: There will be 40 question from each subject which contains a total of 200 questions.

  • Mark Allotment: Candidate will be awarded one mark for every correct answer and a deduction of 1/4 marks for every wrong answer.

MAT 2018 Application Form

  • Registration Mode: Candidates can register for MAT 2018 either online on the official website of AIMA only.

  • Registration Fee: 

    • The registration fees for Paper-based test or Computer-based test are required to pay INR 1550 as application fee. Payment can be made through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

    • Candidates can opt for both the tests i.e., Paper-based test or Computer-based test by paying an extra fee of Rs. 1100/- in addition to Rs. 1550/-.

  • Document Upload: Candidate needs to upload the scanned document while filling the Application. Scanned Documents such as Photograph and Signature.

  • Acknowledgment Slip: Candidate will receive the Acknowledgement Slip only after the successful submission of Application Form.

MAT 2018 Exam Centre

  • Exam Centres: MAT 2018 is conducted in all major cities in the country and some abroad centres, test centres for Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test are different.

MAT 2018 Results

  • Hall Ticket: The candidate must show, on demand, the Hall Ticket for admission in the examination room/hall. A candidate who does not possess the Hall Ticket is not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances.
