About KMAT Karnataka 2019: Karnataka Managment Aptitude Test is popularly abbreviated as KMAT. KMAT Karnataka is a single unified test for the candidates willing to take admission in professional courses such as MBA/PGDM and MCA in Karnataka State from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) affiliated B-Schools.
KMAT Scorecard: Since 2003, Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) results are accepted in more than 169 colleges located in Karnataka State.
KMAT Karnataka Exam Purpose: Purpose of KMAT is to check the aptitude and skills of the candidates which are required for the post graduate programmes. KMAT scorecard is one among many factors to screen candidates and to make an admission decision.
Colleges Through KMAT Exam: Through KMAT, candidates can get admission to the AICTE approved universities and self-financing colleges of Karnataka.
Exam Conducting Authority: KMAT is conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). It was established in 2003 and KMAT is permitted by Government of Karnataka and is open to candidates from all parts of India and abroad.

KMAT 2019 Application Form: Candidates can fill the KMAT Karnataka 2019 Application Form online from 14th March 2019. Candidates need to fill in all the details correctly.
KMAT 2019 Admit Card: KMAT Karnataka 2019 Admit Card will be available for download from 8th July 2019 onwards. Candidate who filled the Application Form successfully can download the Admit Card.
KMAT 2019 Result: KMAT 2019 Result can be checked from the official website from 21st August 2019 onwards. The result can be checked after entering the application form number and date of birth.
KMAT 2019 Counselling Date: KMAT Karnataka 2019 Counselling will start from 15th September 2019. Candidates who have passed the KMAT 2019 with required cut-off marks are allowed to participate in the counselling.
Age Limit: There is no age limit for the candidates to participate in KMAT 2019.
KMAT 2019 Educational Qualification: Candidates should have obtained Bachelor's or Master's degree under any affiliated universities.
Students from final year of their Bachelor's Degree are also eligible for KMAT 2019.
For applying MCA programme, candiate should have studied mathematics as one of their subjects in 10,+2 or at graduation level.
KMAT 2019 Percentage Criteria: Candidates should have obtained at least 50% in the aggregate and for candidates from SC/ST get a relaxation of 5% ie., they should have obtained 45% .
KMAT 2019 Online Application Form Date: Candidate can fill the KMAT 2019 Application Form online by visiting the official website of KMAT 2019 from 20th June 2019 onwards.
The Application Form can be accessed once the candidate clicks on the "Apply Now" option.
Details to be filled in the Application Form: Candidates has to fill in the details like Name, Address, Gender, Phone Number, Nativity, Choice of Exam, Stream of completion of UG/PG, Examination Centre.
These options must be selected carefully because once the choice is made, it cannot be altered.
KMAT 2019 Documents Upload: To complete the Application Form, candidates need to upload the scanned copy of recent coloured passport size photograph (Max 500kB) and signature (Max 200kB).
They can be in the form of .png/.jpg/.jpeg .
After filling in all the details click on "Apply".
KMAT 2019 Application Fee: The Application Form Fee is to be paid in the form of Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- in favour of "KMAT 2019" payable at any nationalised bank in Bangalore.
Photocopy of the Demand Draft can be taken as an acknowledgment.
KMAT 2019 Paper Section: Question paper of KMAT 2019 will have three sections.
Each section has equal weightage.
Candidates need to attend all the sections.
KMAT 2019 Marking Pattern: There are about 120 questions.
All the questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Each section has 40 questions each. One mark is awarded for each correct answer.
There is no negative marking for the wrong answer or the unanswered questions.
KMAT 2019 Admit Card Date: Candidates can download the Admit Card of KMAT 2019 from the official website of the KMAT Karnataka 2019 from 8th July 2019 till the exam day.
KMAT 2019 Admit Card Availability: Candidates need to enter the Application Form number and Date Of Birth to view their Admit Card.
Admit Card can be downloaded by providing the required details.
Photograph must be pasted on the Admit Card after downloading it.
It is better if the photograph pasted is same as the one uploaded in the Application Form.
It must be carried to the examination hall along with the ID proof.

KMAT 2019 Subjects: Candidates need to prepare for Section 1: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (it will test the English ability)
Section 2: Logical and Abstract Reasoning (to check how accurate and fast the candidate can think)
Section 3: Quantitative Ability (to evaluate how fast the candidtes are with the numbers).
Questions are given based on different sections and all the sections should be attended by the candidate.
Each section carries equal weightage.

KMAT 2019 Result Date: Candidates can view their KMAT Karnataka 2019 Result from 21st August 2019, by visiting the official website of the KMAT 2019.
Candidates who cleared the exam with the required cut-off can take part in the counselling.
KMAT 2019 Login Details: Candidates need to enter the Application Form number and Date of Birth as the login details to view the results.
The result can also be printed for future reference at the time of counselling.

Q: Who is eligible to apply for the exam?
Candidates with a minimum of 50% aggregate (general category) in their Bachelor's or Master's degree is eligible to write the exam. A relaxation of 5% is given to reserve category candidates.
Q: How many colleges accept KMAT score?
More than 169 B-Schools in Karnataka accept KMAT score. All these colleges are affiliated to AICTE.
Q: Is there any age limit as the criteria?

If the unrelated columns are left blank, the application form will be rejected. Those blanks should be filled with NA.
Q: Is KMAT an online exam?
No. KMAT is conducted in an offline mode.
Q: How many test cities can be opted while filling the application form?
Only one exam center can be opted by the applicant.
Q: Can a candidate opt for both MBA and MCA course?
Yes. A candidate can opt for both the courses. In this case, two hall tickets will be given.
Q: Can the application form filled in offline mode?
No. The application form can be filled in the online mode only. Candidates should register themselves for the exam before they fill the application form.
