About: Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Examination (KEAM) is a state level entrance exam for candidates who are seeking admission into courses such as Engineering in the colleges in Kerala.
Authority: The KEAM 2018 examination is conducted by the CEE (Commissioner of Entrance Examinations) Kerala.
Procedure: The Allotments of this exam are done through a single window system and centralized allotment processes (CAP).
Courses: It acts as a judging medium for eligible candidates to acquire admissions into professional courses in the fields of agriculture, medicine, engineering, and forestry. Previously, it was conducted for admission in medical, architecture, agriculture and for other courses as well. From 2016 onwards candidate have to quality NEET to take admission in medical and NATA to take admission in architecture.
Applications: Candidates can compete for around 59,000 seats that are available across all courses in KEAM 2018.
Allotment process: The Allotments of KEAM 2018 exam are done through a single window system and centralized allotment processes (CAP). KEAM 2018 is a very popular exam in India and every year a huge number of students apply for this exam.
Mandatory: It is abbreviated as KEAM 2018 and it is a mandatory exam for all the candidates who would like to join any of the colleges in Kerala for engineering courses.
There have been few changes made in the KEAM 2018. The changes brought in the exam are:
Admissions: Admissions to medical and relating programs will be based on the NEET 2018 result score.
Sessions: For admissions in the architecture program, the NATA 2018 scores obtained will be considered for admissions. Henceforth, KEAM 2018 will now be conducted for Engineering only in 2 sessions.

Boys have swept the first ten ranks in the 2017 Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical (KEAM) entrance examination.
KEAM 2018 registration will be commenced from 1st February 2018 on the KEAM official website. Re-Admission started to Medical Allied Courses and Ayurveda Course.
Application Form: The candidates can fill the application form from 1st February 2018 to 9th March 2018.
Counseling date: After the KEAM 2018 results are announced, Counselling process will start at 20th June 2018.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates aspiring to get admission into the engineering colleges in Kerala through KEAM 2018 must have passed the class 12 exam from the HSE board or any other equivalent board.
Minimum Marks: Aspiring candidates must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination to satisfy the eligibility criteria to answer KEAM 2018. There is 5% relaxation in minimum marks for the candidates belonging to the reserved category.

Mode and Duration: KEAM 2018 exam will be conducted in offline mode(Pen and Paper based) and candidates will be having the duration 150 minutes to complete each session of KEAM 2018 examination.
Subjects: KEAM 2018 exam will have two papers. One for Physics and Chemistry together and other for Mathematics.

Availability: The application form for KEAM 2018 begins on the 1st February 2018 to 9th March 2018. The mode of applying for the KEAM 2018 exam is through an online application form available on the official website.
Payment: The general category candidates have to pay the application fee of INR 800/-, and the candidates under the SC/ST category are required to pay a fee of INR 400/- for KEAM 2018 registration.

Admit Card Availability: Candidates can download the admit card of KEAM 2018 will be available from 10th April 2018.
Mandatory: It is mandatory to carry admit card along with identity card to the examination hall, failing in it the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
Exam date: The candidates can see the KEAM 2018 examination result is scheduled for 24th April 2018.
Required details: Candidates have to enter the Application Number and Password to get the result of KEAM 2018 examination.
Counselling date: After the KEAM 2018 results are announced, the counseling session will be announced on the website.The candidates are required to look out for the counseling schedule and attend the same with the necessary documents. The process of counseling starts from 20th June 2018.
Allotment process: The total number of seats available for the different courses will be published prior to the commencement of CAP 2018. There are 3 rounds of seat allotments name as first allotment, second allotment, and third allotment.
Reference Books: Candidates get many books available in the market for KEAM 2018. The candidates are required to reference books which cover the topic for KEAM #year examination.
Suggestions: Candidate should solve the previous year question papers to get an idea about the difficulty level of the exam.

BVSc and AH
Candidates should bring Admit card, ballpoint pen (either blue or black ink) and a cardboard/clipboard for the Examination.
Candidates will not be permitted to take items such as pencil, eraser, correction fluid, calculator, logarithm table, electronic gadgets, mobile phones etc. into the examination hall.
Candidate should be present at the examination hall, 30 minutes before the prescribed time for the commencement of the examination.
No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall, 30 minutes after the commencement of the examination.
The candidate has to show his/her Admit card to the invigilator and the Board appointed officials as and when required.
Candidate without Admit card or with Admit card having defigured soiled or distorted photographs will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
Candidates will be permitted to leave the examination hall only after completion of the examination.
Scratch papers are provided to all candidate for rough work at the examination hall. Rough work cannot be done any other paper sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the testing room. On completion of the test, candidates will have to hand back all the scratch paper to the administrator.
Having in possession of papers, books, notes, correction fluid, whitener, correction pen, blade, pencil, eraser, electronic devices or any other material or information relevant to the examination concerned.
Paying someone to write examination (impersonation) or prepare material.
Breaching examination rules and assisting another candidate to engage in malpractice or attempting to do so.
Contacting or communicating or trying to do so with any person, other than the Examination Staff, during the examination time in the examination hall.

Possession of Calculators, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Geometry Box, Pencil box, Electronic Digital Watches with facilities of calculators, mobile phones, pagers or any other electronic gadget which are not allowed inside the Examination Hall;

Minimum qualification: Candidates must pass 10+2 from HSE Board. They must be an Indian national or Person of Indian Origin or an Overseas Citizen of India.
Eligibility criteria: They must score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
NOTE: The Reserved quota candidates must score a minimum of 40% in the qualifying exam and for physically handicapped candidates, it is 45%.

Eligibility: Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria for KEAM 2018 has to fill in details regarding their identity, qualifications and contact details in application form.
Notification: KEAM 2018 board will then send a password and login details via SMS and email that were put in the form during registration.

Fee: For General Candidates KEAM 2018 application fee is INR 1000 and for Reserved Quota Candidates fee is INR 500.
Online payment: Online payment for KEAM 2018 registration can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card or Demand Draft.
Offline payment: Draft payment must be sent physically to the exam conducting authority details and must be filled in while registering online.
Submission: The CEE will display the form status on the official website and a printout of the form must be sent to the admission office.
Make sure: The candidates receive acknowledge from KEAM 2018 board when candidates will get the admit card.
Password criteria: The password field should contain a minimum of 8 character length, one character, one number, one special character should be there in it.
Login details: Application number and Password is mandatory to successfully login to KEAM 2018 exam.

Marks distribution for each question: KEAM 2018 exam will be off 120 questions. The candidate gets 4 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Question paper pattern: Physics and Chemistry questions will be in 1st paper and Mathematics will be in the 2nd paper for Engineering entrance exam.

Aggregate consideration: Aggregation score of paper 1 and paper 2 will be considered in KEAM 2018 score.
Procedure: KEAM 2018 results are computed in a standardized procedure and ranks will be determined accordingly.
Priority for subjects: For tie-breaking, Mathematics marks will be having higher priority and next comes the Physics and chemistry marks.

Allotment process: Through Single Window system, seat allotment will be done via Centralised Allotment Process.
Procedure: On the basis of rank secured the allotment will be done by KEAM 2018.
