The JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted on May 19, 2019.
JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee.
Introduction: The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) was formerly known as 'Indian Institutes of Technology - Joint Entrance Examination'. JEE Advanced is a gateway test to secure admission to B.E./B.Tech courses in the top engineering institutions of India such as the 7 IITs, ISM Dhanbad, and IISc Bangalore under the Joint Admission Board's guidance.
JEE Advanced is the stage 2 of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Mains) and only the top 2,10,000 AIR (All India Rank) holders in JEE Main are considered eligible for this test.
Conducted by: JEE Advanced 2019 is conducted by IIT Roorkee. JEE Advanced is organized annually by one of the various IITs (IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Roorkee, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati), in a round-robin rotation pattern.
Exam Mode: JEE Advanced 2019 will be held online (Computer Based Test- CBT).
Eligibility: Candidates qualifying JEE Main 2019 with a valid score can appear for the JEE Advanced 2019.
Medium of Paper: Candidates can choose the language as per their choice - Hindi or English.
No. of Papers: JEE Advanced 2019 will have 2 papers and the candidates will be given 3 hours for each paper to complete the test. The Paper I and Paper II, both the papers are compulsory.
Subjects: Paper I and paper II will contain Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted on 19th May 2019.
Candidates can download the Admit Card from the official website from 14th May 2019.
JEE Advanced 2019 Important Dates will be notified by the conducting body on their official website.
Seat allotments will be done on basis of ranking that candidates acquire in JEE Advanced 2019. Only those candidates who make it to the JEE Advanced 'Merit List' are eligible to participate in JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
Age and Nationality
Candidates must be of Indian origin and must be born on or/after 1st October 1994.
Candidates belonging to categories SC/ST/PwD get an age relaxation of 5 years.
Candidates of Overseas Citizen of India/ Persons of Indian Origin are also eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2019.
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a valid JEE Main 2019 scorecard to fulfill the JEE Advanced 2019 Eligibility Criteria.
Candidates must have passed 10+2/equivalent Examination with 75% aggregate marks to be eligible to appear for JEE examination.
For candidates who belong to the reserved categories, the required marks are 65% aggregate in the 10+2/equivalent examination.
JEE Advanced 2019 Syllabus consists of chapters from 10+2 level.
Candidates are required to answer questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Candidates must go through the NCERT books of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics before appearing for the examination. Some important chapters are mentioned in the table below:

AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) analyses the candidate's architectural skills that are required for admissions in Architecture Courses, IIT.

Mode: JEE Advanced 2019 is a computer-based test.
Papers: JEE Advanced 2019 Exam Pattern will be set by the conducting body. It will consist of two papers. It is compulsory to attempt both the papers.
Duration: The candidates will be given three hours to complete Paper I and three hours to complete Paper II.
Availability: JEE Advanced 2019 Application Form will be made available on 30th April 2019.
Mode: Application forms will be made available to candidates online, through the official website of JEE Advanced 2019.
Candidates having qualified JEE Main 2019 need to register for JEE Advanced exam by logging into the official site www.jeeadv.ac.in
Documents: All the required documents need to be scanned and uploaded by the candidate within the stipulated date and time. Late uploads or uploading wrong information will lead to cancellation of forms.
Selection: The candidates are allowed to prefer the Exam Centres according to their convenience.
Candidates can select their preferred Exam Centres while filling the JEE Advanced 2019 application form.

Candidates who have registered for the exam can download their JEE Advanced 2019 Admit Card
Admit Card will contain details like candidate’s name, roll number, date of birth, signature, photograph, question paper language, category, and Exam Centre details. Candidates need to verify the details carefully to avoid any discrepancies later.
JEE Advanced 2019 Results will be declared by the conducting authority.
Results will be displayed category-wise on All India Rank basis for all the candidates.
JEE Advanced 2019 Counselling will be conducted from 2nd July 2019. It will be purely based on merit and candidates will be assessed on their All-India rank, category wise in JEE Advanced 2019 examination.
The JoSAA ( Joint Seat Allocation Authority) conducts centralized counselling for admission into various IITs, ISM, NIT and other Government Funded Technical Institutions.
Candidates who get a valid AIR (All India Rank) on JEE Advanced 2019 will get an opportunity to appear for JoSSA counselling procedure.
Papers: Paper I was relatively easier when compared to the Paper II for JEE Advanced 2018.
Question types: Each paper had multiple correct choice passage type and Integer type Questions.
Marking system: However, some questions did not have the negative marking scheme on the Question Paper.
Level: The paper was relatively easy. It was slightly easier than the Paper II.

Candidates should upload X and XII Marks Cards, Category or PWD Certificate, Scribe form (for blind candidates), Signature, Thumb impression, and Photograph. All the documents should be in the prescribed format.
Q: Can I write AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) without appearing for JEE Advanced 2019?
No, only candidates qualifying JEE Advanced exam can write Architecture Aptitude Test.
Q: How to avail the benefits of scribe?
During registration, the candidate must submit a request letter (scribe form) to the respective zonal IITs along with the copy of the PWD Certificate obtained from the medical board to avail the benefits of a scribe.
