BUMAT 2018 Introduction: 

BUMAT 2018  examination was held on 3rd June 2018. BUMAT was held in different branches of Bharati Vidyapeetham university across the country. The exam was a Pen Paper based exam conducted to select the candidates for BCA, BBA courses of the university.

  • About: BUMAT is an Eligibility Test Conducted by Bharati Vidyapeetham University for admission of students in specified undergraduate programmes of the university.

  • Conducting Authority: BUMAT is conducted by Bharati Vidyapeetham university for admission of students in it's undergraduate programmes. The university has all the rights from alloting exam centres to selection of a candidate.

  • Level: BUMAT is a national level exam written by many students across the country. This exam is restricted to be written only by the Indian Nationals.

  • Frequency: BUMAT is conducted once in an year in the month of june i.e. after the declaration of 10+2 reults and before the academic year starts, to admit students in BCA & BBA programmes of the Bharati Vidyapeetham University.

  • Courses: The exam is conducted to admit students in undergraduate programmes of Bachelors in Computer application as well as Bachelors in Business Administration inder the Bharati Vidyapeetham University.

  • Mode: The exam is conducted only in offline mode. No Online exam is held by Bharati Vidyapeetham university. All candidates who wants admission for the courses has to go through the entrance test. There is no other means to join the Course.

  • Counselling:  Counselling is conducted after the declaration of results. BUMAT 2018 Counselling is scheduled between 1st July 2018 till 7th July 2018 in various branches of the university.

BUMAT 2018 Latest News:

  • BUMAT Counselling: After the declaration of the results, Counselling is scheduled to happen between 1st July 2018 till 7th July 2018. Different Branchees have proposed different dates for counselling for the convenience of students.

 BUMAT 2018 Important dates:

  • Counselling: The counselling dates for BUMAT 2018 is scheduled between 01st July 2018 till 07th July 2018 in various centres according to the ranks obtained by the students in the entrance test.
  • Date of Examination: BUMAT 2018 Offline Examination was held on 3rd June 2018. This exam was held simultaneouly in every proposed centre by the university.
  • Admit Card: Admit cards were issued immediately, once the applications were filled and Exam fees was paid. Admit cards were made available online after the online application process was done to individual candidates.

  • Applications: The applications were released from 2nd February 2018 and was closed by 31st May 2018. The application were available to be filled both in online mode as well as offline mode and fees was made to pay online for the covenience of release of admit cards.

BUMAT 2018 Eligibility:

  • Nationality: The applicant should only be an Indian National. Foreigners are not allowed to get admission through BUMAT. Still foreigners can be given admissions on courses based on the merit list generated by Bharati Vidyapeetham deemed to be University.

  • Minimum qualification: All General category students are expected to have an aggregate minimum of 45% Marks in their 10+2 examinations, whereas all reserved category students are expected to score 40% and above for taking up the BUMAT 2018, Students those who have given their exams and awaiting results can also apply for BUMAT 2018.
  • Age: There is no age limit for writing BUMAT 2018.

BUMAT 2018 Exam Pattern:

  • Total marks: BUMAT 2018 is an entrance test conducted for a total of 200 Marks. Students are expected to answer 200 questions in 2 Hours and 30 Minutes.
  • Categories: BUMAT 2018 consists only multiple choice questions for 200 Marks. The student is asked to mark the one right answer out of the choices given.
  • Sections: BUMAT 2018 has 4 sections all together. They are Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning or Logical Aptitude, Verbal ability, Reading comprehension.

BUMAT 2018 Application Form:

  • Fee: BUMAT 2018 Fee was fixed to be 1000 INR for all offline applications and 1200 INR for all online applications. This fees was common to students of all category. The fees can be paid through cash or Demand draft for offline applicants. Online applicants can pay through Debit cards/ Credit cards or netbanking facilities of any major bank.

  • Application dates: The applications for BUMAT 2018 Were released on 2nd February 2018 and closed by 31st May 2018. Candidates should fill all the mandatory fields to complete the application process and generate the admit card.

BUMAT 2018 Admit Card:

  • Credentials: To download the admit cards of BUMAT 2018, the candidate should successfully fill the application form without mistakes and make the payment.

  • Availability: BUMAT 2018 Applications were made available in the official website of the Bharati Vidyapeetham Deemed to be University. Upon Applying to the exam successfully, a candidate can enter His/Her application number along with Date of Birth to generate admit card.

  • Mandatory: Admit cards are mandatory to all the candidates to appear for the BUMAT 2018 examinations. Candidates have to download and print a hard copy of the admit card and carry it to the exam centre on the day of examination.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

A should have passed 12th to get the admission. First, you have to write BVP BUMAT entrance exam for the admission. There are no cutoffs.

BVP BUMAT exam will be conducted in online mode only. Candidate can not appear for this exam in offline mode

In Bihar their in only one BVP BUMAT exam centre which is in Patna.

I have not actually prepared for this exam and hence time is less so is there any chance that I can take admission in BVP without any donation or what?

Hi Samiksha,

To get admission in the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University one should clear BVP CET examination and minimum cut off is 80%. You need to contact the University to get admission through management seat.
