How to Fill BLAT 2019 Application Form

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website ( for registration.

  • Click on ‘Apply for Admission’ link.

  • At the new page, click on ‘Register yourself’ link.

  • After carefully going through all the guidelines fill in all the necessary details including email Id and mobile number, carefully.

  • Click on the ‘Sign Up’ link after filling all the required details.

Step 2: Activation and Validation

  • Upon clicking on the ‘Sign Up’ link, a confirmation message is displayed on the screen.

  • An activation email is sent to the registered email id and a validation code is sent via SMS to the registered mobile number.

  • Click on the activation link sent via email. Enter the verification code sent via SMS when asked for the same.

  • Now, the account is activated and Login for further completion of application is possible.

Step 3: Select Courses

  • After Login, candidates can see the ‘Status of Submitted Applications’ page.

  • Select applicable course name and type from the list provided in the drop-down boxes after carefully going through the eligibility criteria which is displayed.

  • In case of applying for more than one course, click on the ‘Add Course’ link.

Step 4: Filling up of Application and Test Centers

  • After selecting the courses, candidates are directed to a new page.

  • On the left side panel of this new page, the following options are present.

    • Application Status

    • Application Details

    • Upload Photograph and Signature

    • Test Center Preference

    • Delete Application form

    • Back to My Application

  • In order to complete and submit the application, candidates must click on the ‘Application Details’ link.

  • On the new page, some details which were submitted at the time of registration are already filled.

  • Proceed to fill the remaining details asked.

  • After filling details, click on ‘Save and Continue’ link.

  • Now click on the ‘Test Center Preference’ link.

  • Choose Test Centers in order of preference from the drop-down menu box.

  • Click on ‘Save and Continue’

Step 5: Upload of Photograph and Signature

  • After selecting Test Center preferences, candidates can move on to upload the scanned images of passport sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Candidates can follow the guidelines mentioned for uploading.

  • Recent colour passport photograph:

    • Dimension- 3.5 x 4.5 cm

    • Maximum file size- 100kb

    • Format- .jpeg

  • Candidates must sign on a white paper using a black/blue ball point pen

    • Dimension- 3.5 x 4.5 cm

    • Maximum file size- 100kb

    • Format- .jpeg

Step 6: Payment

Application Fee for the BHU Law Entrance Test 2019 can be paid either in the online mode or in the offline (challan) mode.

Online Mode:

Candidates can pay the required application fee in one of the following online methods.

  1. Net Banking

  2. Credit/ Debit Card

Candidates must note that there is an additional charge of Rs. 10/- against online service fee.

After completing the registration and application filling the part, candidates can pay the application fee by clicking on the ‘Continue for Online Payment’ link.

Offline Mode:

  • Candidates can pay the application fee via challan payment at any branch of HDFC bank. The challan can be downloaded from the online entrance test portal at the time of applying.

  • After completing the registration part, candidates can download the challan by clicking on the ‘Cash Payment through HDFC Bank’.
