Domicile: The applicants must satisfy Local/Un-reserved status necessity as set down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions Order.
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals can appear for AP LAWCET 2019 entrance exam.
AP LAWCET 2019 Age limit: The Age of the candidate should be-
Less than 20 years for 5 year LLB course
Less than 30 years for 3 year LLB course
AP LAWCET 2019 Dates: The candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria of AP LAWCET 2019 exam must check all the important dates and events related to it.
Note: Candidates are advised to check their eligibility before they fill the AP LAWCET 2019 Application Form.
Minimum Qualification: The applicant who has completed his/ her Graduate Degree or its equivalent from any recognized University is eligible for AP LAWCET 2019.
OC candidates: The candidates who belong to OC category must score a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in graduation from any recognized institution.
BC Candidates: The candidates who belong to BC category must have completed their graduation with 42% aggregate marks from any recognized institution.
SC/ST Candidates: The candidates who belong to SC/ST category must have completed their graduation with at least 40% aggregate marks from any recognized institution.
Note: The candidates who secured less than 45% in their graduation, they must complete an additional graduate or postgraduate degree with 45% aggregate marks.
Minimum Qualification: The candidate must have completed Class 12th or its equivalent from any recognized board or Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.
OC candidates: The candidates who belong to OC category must score a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam from any recognized board.
BC Candidates: The candidates who belong to BC category must have secured 42% aggregate marks in Intermediate Exam or its equivalent from any recognized board.
SC/ST Candidates: The candidates who belong to SC/ST category must have passed in Class 12th with at least 40% marks from any recognized board.
Final Year Candidates: The candidates appearing for LLB/BL Final year examination will also be eligible for the exam.
OC/BC Candidate: The candidate must have completed the qualifying examination with 50% marks in aggregate.
SC/ST Candidates: The candidate must secure 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
Mere appearance in AP LAWCET will not give any right of admission. The candidate shall satisfy all the eligibility criteria and should satisfy rules governing admission as are applicable at the time of admission.
The applicants who have obtained 10+2/ graduation/ post graduation through single sitting system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission into the law courses.
Age on admission into law courses is subject to the rule position in vogue at the time of admission.
The candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy the Local/ Non-Local Status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974 and the amendments made thereto from time to time.
