What is AIMCET?

AIMCET is a national level that offers admission to the Undergraduate Journalism & mass communication courses. This is the Institution & University level entrance exam which is scheduled mostly in July every year. However, this year it was postponed due to Covid-19.

The AIMCET assesses the students for communication skills and necessary analytics and logical reasoning essential for comprehending various scenarios and possible outcomes for a successful career in BA-JMC & BJMC Degree programmes.

AIMCET 2021 Eligibility

For UG Course (BA-JMC & BJMC) the candidates must have a minimum education qualification of Higher Secondary (10+2) or any equivalent education with a minimum aggregate of 50% for General Category & 45% for SC/ST/OBC or should be appearing for the same in 2021.

A candidate with a three or four-year diploma, from a recognized university approved by AICTE with a minimum of 50% marks can also apply.

AIMCET 2021 Application Form

The application form for the AIMCET 2021 will be available online only at the official website.

Candidates will have to fill the application with all the relevant and valid information after making sure that they satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria for the examination. The application form will not be available in any other mode.

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Click on the above link, and register for the examination by providing all the required details and make sure that they are valid and correct.
  3. A computerized verification with Username and Password will be sent to your registered email ID/Phone Number.
  4. Click on the link and activate your login portal by entering the given username and password
  5. After logging in to the portal, complete the payment by clicking on Pay Now.
  6. Proceed to the payment portal and choose Card/Net Banking or UPI as per your choice.
  7. After successful payment, your application form will be registered.

AIMCET 2021 Application Fee

Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 750 to be able to take up the examination. The candidature of an individual will be confirmed only after the payment of the application fee.

AIMCET 2021 Admit Card

The admit card for AIMCET will be available online after the successful completion of the registration process. Candidates can download the admit card and save it for future references. 

In case of any discrepancy, the candidates are advised to report the same to the authorities.
