  • The daily routine in our university involves intensive lab work. Professors apart from focusing on theory pay attention on the practical understanding as well. For a science student a practical knowledge and it's application is important and our university very well incorporates this. We get various interesting projects that increases our level of scientific understanding . The college starts from 9 am and ends at 3:00 pm.
  • The professors expose us to the new researches on the international level. However due to dearth of funds the 100% incorporation of practical knowledge is not done.
  • Overall it's a good experience in the university.

Fees & Scholarship

  • Our course fee is around Rs 8000/- per semester.
  • As such apart from scholarship to low income and backward students no such scholarships are provided. Most students belonging to backward classes and to a low income family get the scholarships.

  • Our course is an academic one therefore we hardly get any recruitment. It is the only projects that we have a last resort. And NET jrf and other sources to do phd.
  • Our alumini are present in the various corners of the world.

Infrastructure & Transportation

9 /10

  • Hostels are there.
  • The pgs are also available in the city with Rs 3000-4000 per month.
  • The quality of food available in the college canteen is average. A plate of chola bhatura costs around Rs 30.
  • We don't have any wifi access. The library is good but few main books have less copies therefore the access is sometimes limited. And since the books of foreign authors are very expensive it is inconvenient for the students to avail access. Labs are average apart from few old equipments their is a dearth of new advanced equipments . For the M.Sc students we don't have a separate class. Lab and class both are same. There is a dearth of common space for students to talk and carry out discussions. The museum of our department is a good one but in present scenario it is not maintained up to the mark.
