  • Apart from other engineering colleges in ANDHRA PRADESH our college is better in many aspects in my view. Our college daily routine quite simple..it starts from many 8:30am and it will be completed by evening 4:30pm.we are getting enough time to concentrate on our body fitness to by playing games.Exams are being conducted well in our college .two midterm exams and one end semester exam for each and every subject in semester programs. Our university being autonomous we are having 8 semesters in our bachelor programme. This is quite different from other colleges of andhrapadesh they are having only 7 semesters in their course.quality and method of teaching is quite good.our professors give us enormous support in guiding us towards our success.teaching is also perfect and practical knowledge has been given a lot of priority apart from textbook knowledge.so this method of teaching can create a lot of interest to students.overal experience is quite good and interesting in our college.

HOSTELS & FOOD
9/10
The canteen of Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering (SVCE) is on the opposite side of the road. It’s pretty huge but the food continues to be horrible even after repeated complaints. “And there is no other place to eat nearby so we are forced to eat this ‘jail’ food” comments a frustrated student.

INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION
8/10
Students here don’t have much to complain about the college’s infrastructure. Except for a little shortage of books in the library and a few ill-managed labs, most other things seem to be in place. Even the hostels are pretty well taken care of. However, some feel that the rooms ought to be a little bigger and there must be some kind of internet connection, preferably Wi-Fi. Something everyone unanimously feels is that the mess food needs a total makeover; it’s really bad at present.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK

Most of the final year students opt for higher studies, while the rest who opt for placement find jobs in most sought after core companies. The college has been able to attract companies of high repute every year. The distinction of the college when compared to other colleges in the state who have the same 100percent placement is that, a number of student find jobs in core companies related to their field rather than the regular IT companies. It is difficult to get into svce through DOTE as one need very high credentials. An OC Category seat for ECE (2008 Data) shows that the minimum cut off was 197.25 and for the upcoming new branches like BE-Automobile it was 194.5.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE & INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE
10/10
The college has more than 50 percentage of its alumni in the USA and UK. Its a known fact that SVCE has been sending the highest number of its students abroad for higher studies. Every university in the USA has atleast one SVCE alumni. Such is the reputation of the college. The college shrugs away from publicity and hence its hard to find even one advertisement in newspaper or the internet, which is unlike many colleges.
