Placements are benchmark to the performance of any Institute and it depicts the success and growth of the institutions. The placement cell of SESHADRIPURAM COLLEGE plays a vital role & is gradually becoming a key department of the institute. The competition for the employment is increasing everyday and the job of placement is becoming a challenging one. The main objective of the Placement Cell is to facilitate the process of placement and ensure that each eligible student gets an opportunity to face an interview. Adding to it the endeavor of placement cell is to ensure 100% placement assistance to all the students and also to bridge the gap between the College and the Corporate. In the year 2014-2015 we had 58 companies visiting our campus and close to 250 U.G. students have been successfully placed. We have had our regular recruiters such as JP MORGAN, NORTHERN TRUST, SOCIETE GENERALE (GSC), TESCO, AMAZON, IBM, INFOSYS, TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, HP who hired the best of talents from SESHADRIPURAM DEGREE COLLEGE. Library Our library is a haven for book lovers. We can proudly claim to have one of the best and largest collection of books among undergraduate colleges of Bengaluru. From autobiographies to thrillers, self-help and personality development books to encyclopedias, you name it and our library has it. To encourage students to go beyond the usual textbooks, the library is well stocked with a wide range of reference books .Our library also has the distinction of subscribing to more than 100 magazines and newspapers catering to diverse interests. A large number of reputed academic journals are also available for staff and for students interested in keeping abreast with latest developments in their domain. Canteen A variety of tasty, hygienically prepared food is available at specially subsidized rates at the canteen. Whether it is breakfast, lunch, a quick snack or a cup of coffee, the canteen is where you need to head. Located in the college quadrangle, the canteen is easily accessible to staff and visitors as well.
