ACADEMICS & FACULTY

There will be 10:00 am to 3:00 pm regular classroom training. There are very well experienced faculties so that the quality of teaching was so good. They also use to conduct many workshops for students. It was an overall personality development programme that we had in our college.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

There 128 different committee's in college, including students parliament. The club's and committees are run by both students and faculty together. There are many cultural festivals, management fests, sports meets. The life in college was simply awesome.

The class will start at 8:30 ...and ends at 3:10 which includes breaks and lunch break. There will be single internal test

About SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, [SBRRMFGC] Mysore

SBRR Mahajana First Grade College took birth in the year 1982, exclusively as a women's college offering B.A. & B.Com. courses. It was admitted to the grant-in-aid in the year 1987 & in 1988 became a co-educational institution. As the college took rapid strides, B.Sc. course was introduced in the year 1989, BBM course was introduced in 1994. B.Sc with Bio-technology, Biochemistry and Microbiology combination was added in 2004. BCA course was introduced in 2008. BTH course was started in the year 2009. In persistent persuit of its primary desire, in the year 1999-at the threshold of 21st century, the college started a post-Graduation Centre, thereby achieving a milestone in the path of Higher Education. Celebrating its Silver Jubilee in the august presence of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, former President of India, the institution today is heading towards completion of three decades in collegiate education.

Affiliated to the legendary University of Mysore and having been re-accredited by NAAC, the college has undergone the third cycle of accreditation. The grades/results are awaited. It has been recognised as College with Potential for Excellence (CPE), in 2010 and the College has also applied for autonomy.

Mahajana First Grade College is located in Jayalakshmipuram - the prime residential locality of Mysore. It is easily accessible from the vantage points of the city through public modes of transportation.

The campus has a total area of 9,14,760 sq.ft with a built up area of 3,25,600 sq.ft and an open area of 5,98,160 sq.ft. The campus is spread over an area of 6 acres comprising multi-storeyed buildings and well developed infrastructure to facilitate all round progress of students.
