The entrance eligibility criteria in tulas institute are based on either your jee mains marks or boards. The jee main marks depends on the cutoff marks and in case of boards marks, the percentage of pcm should be greater than 60.I have taken the jee examination for the entrance
I really like the placement process of Tula’s Institute. The faculty here is working really hard for all students so that they could get easily placed in best companies. Studying at Tula’s has brought an added value to my life. It has given me an opportunity to meet different kind of people and learn new things everyday. I have received a great support from faculties & placement office. I am thankful to Training & Placement cell for providing a platform to enhance my skills and an opportunity to showcase them.
I pursued my high school education from a middle segment school in a small city. Thus I knew that I would have to do something phenomenal in my college life in case I needed steady employment and a bright career.
I am fortunate that I got through Tula’s Institute. I pursued a technology course. I enjoy my classes and the fact that we are regularly taken for industrial visits for practical exposure.
I fell in love with the Tula’s Institute campus the moment I entered the premises for the orientation program. When I later met the staff, I was certain that this was the college I wanted to study in. Ever since that day, I have loved my college tenure in Tula’s Institute.
Whenever there is a problem, personal or academic, I have instant help from the college faculty, staff and even my fellow students. They are always keen to listen to us and instil lot of confidence in us. I have enhanced my skills on a continuous basis for which I am very thankful to the institute. It sets me apart from my co students studying in other colleges across the city and country
We have our club called VIBGIYOR where we do different kind of activity apart from that we also have a different kind of sports, a medical facility is our technical fair and Sanskriti is our cultural festival.
There are 5 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel the hostel fees is INR 70,000 for non-AC and INR 80,000 for AC rooms which include laundry, and a mess we also have a gym but you have to pay for it. Mess food is average you can just eat it, PG option is also available you can easily find a PG near collage... hostel also provides free wifi and data is limited but you have access to collage lag where to brows internet.
Students are from different cultures and there is not much communication among them. Every festival is celebrated except Eid, and only one day holiday is given even though it's a 3-day festival. Life in college, in general, is average not too good.
The hostel is not good in general, AC rooms aren't available and no elevators. The fee is INR 75,000 per year and the food is expensive and are good but not worth it. Classrooms and labs are in good condition.
Methods of teaching are good and quality is average, I think average would be the right answer for it.
About INR 200,000 is the course fees and PMSSS is available for some students, only about 10 or 12.
No, I haven't done any internship yet. Placements for manufacturing, marketing, sales are provided which offer about INR 6,50,000 and about 5% to 6% students get placed.
10th grade and 12the grade are enough for the eligibility, I didn't take part in any of the entrance examinations. There are no cutoffs for general category.
I am just in 2nd year so I didn't go for any sort of internships. Companies like Microsoft, LG, Byju's offered placements with an average package of INR 6 lakh p.a. I didn't come across any alumni.
12th aggregate must be 60% or more and I appeared for JEE MAIN 2016. I also gave Tula's entrance examination in which I scored about 111 and received a post from the college regarding the admission procedure.
Students from different states and countries have come to our college and social life of the college is very good. Every year college conducts tech fest that has different competitions and this fest provides good knowledge for the students. Sanskriti is the traditional fest that has different dance programs and cultural programs. In general, college life is very good.
There are separate hostels for boys and girls, there are five hostels and both AC and non AC rooms are available. Four hostels for boys and one hostel for girls, the hostel fee is affordable i.e INR 67000 p.a and the food we get is very hygienic and the food cost is included in the fees. We have digital classes for every department, there are sufficient labs and virtual labs are there and my college has the biggest auditorium in Dehradun and there is a reference library which is very helpful.
Class timings are from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and after every lecture, we get a break of 10 minutes and the teachers are very good they explain in a very well manner and they are very helpful and they help us after the college hours. Many teachers from IIT are also there and they teach extremely well so, the overall environment of my college is the best.
INR 1,09,000 is the fees for Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering) and INR 67000 is for the hostel at Tula's Institute, Dehradun, and fees is not so much that you need to take loan but if you need loan you can take it from any of the banks, HDFC is what I suggest is the best and students who score above 90% get the scholarship but I haven't seen any of them get above 90%.
As I am in my second year right now I haven't done any kind of internship yet, but I have seen many companies have visited my college last year and few of them were from Cognizant, Infosys, LG, Soft Tech and many more and these companies have provided placements to the students and the highest package was INR 22.5 lakhs p.a and for the internship they had given INR 18,000 per month to the students. Almost 90% of the students get placed every year and college is very supportive at the time of placements so in short, it's good.
The eligibility criteria was 10+2 with the good percentage and the minimum percentage for getting the admission was 70% and basically through JEE MAIN examination you can get admission in this college very easily and an other way is the direct admission and if you want to take computer science then you must be good in everything only then you will get computer science.
