Eligibility criteria are just to pass with minimum 55% from any stream in 10+2. Thé admission procédure was online as well as offline. I had given NCHM JEE exam.
I know that most of the colleges conduct entrance exams for the admission for BMS Course. I didn't give any entrance examination but I have passed HSC examination with 67% from commerce field.

There are many students societies. Everyone is mentioned on the college website. The main festival is Malhar which happens in August near 15th. There is one hostel inside campus, hostel is nice, fees is around 10k per month. This is only for boys. There are quiet a few options like PGs and other hostels. Every year we have many outsider students coming. They take local marine lines PG or byculla Hostels. Cost is around INR 10k to 12k. Quality of classroom, labs, library, the canteen is really good. People make it home. Like most of the time, they stay in college. Canteen and library has free wifi. There is no mobile network in college campus except in open areas.
Four lectures every day ( 50 mins each) break, practicals. Teaching is both chalk and board type and ppts and demonstration type. Overall experience is really good. Some people get frustrated with extra curriculum and S.I.P.(social service) mandatory. Introverts explore themselves
The course fee is around INR 7000. There are government scholarship programmes. People don't apply for the scholarship. No loans needed.
None internships. For B.Sc, no companies come to college. You have to go and apply. Alumni network is really good. Ex-students can register themselves on the alumni website. This year(2018) on occasion of 150 years, there are special events for alumni.
The cutoff for open caste students is very high; but if you come under any reserved caste or Christian minority, it is easy to get in. Difference between Christian minority and the non-christian minority is around 25%. There is no need for any entrance exam for B.Sc. Admission is based on 12 standard mark sheet.
Life in college is very family like. Malhar is the most famous fest. Also Janfest farewells.

Xavier's holds a boys hostel in campus, taken care by the Jesuit priests. There are ample of pg options suitable for almost every budget The college canteen/foyer has various types of cuisines and none can be complained about. WiFi is available on campus and mobile network is a Luxury. classrooms are pretty cool and so are the labs.
The time range is 11.20 am to 4.00 pm.
I am not really sure about this, but then junior college fees are INR 350, for all students of the state board. An extra amount of INR 4500 for IT. The fee ranges depending on the boards the student.

The plethora of clubs and associations are present, lots of opportunities for students. The college hosts the largest number of fests probably any college will host but every fest runs one after the other like clockwork.
There is a boys hostel on the campus. Hostels for girls are present around the college but not directly associated with the college itself. Food is reasonable, plenty of choice, good service. Being a heritage building, classrooms are straight from a 70's movie and have an old world charm to it.
Classes usually begin at around 8 am and end with a practical session at around 3 pm. Quality of education and output of the faculty is top notch.

Life at Xavier's is very different from other common colleges.
