Societies & Associations:

There are so many societies in the college such as Enactus, NSS, EOC, Rotaract, and many more. GGS is also known for western dance society - Misbah. Panchatantra (The Drama Society) and VOGUE (The Fashion Society) are also attractive. The college also organizes many events such as teachers day. The life in the college was great.

Academics & Faculty:

Internal exam (25 marks) and final exam (75 marks) are conducted by the university. The experience is good at the college. Teachers are very supportive and helpful. They treat us as their own children.

Fees and Scholarship:

The course fee for both general and the minority category is INR 23000 per year. The scholarship options are available for economically weak students who cannot afford to pay the tuition fees. The loan can be easily availed from Punjab and Sind Bank.

Placements & Internships:

The highest figure of salary is INR 440000. Key companies like Deloitte, KPMG, E & Y, and much more Indian companies come for interview every year.

Admissions:

For B.Com (H), the cut-off for general category is 95.25% and for B.Com (P), the cut-off is 93.50%.

The college has more than 40 societies.

College Infrastructure:

The infrastructure of the college is excellent, the college is always clean. The college has a girls' hostel which is under construction.

Academics & Faculty:

The academic section, as well as the teachers and the classrooms, are very good. The routine is not very hectic.

Fees and Scholarship:

My course fee is INR 23000 per year. The scholarships are available to the 2nd and 3rd-year students who score at least 75% in the final exams.

Placements & Internships:

Key companies like KPMG, Ernst & Young come to the college every year to recruit the students for the internships.

Admissions:

The admission is done on the basis of merit and DU JAT. The cut-off mark is 95% and the students have to carry good marks in DU JAT.

Many societies are there in the college. The activities of all the societies are very interesting. No one regrets after joining the societies.

College Infrastructure:

There is a girls' hostel near the college. Many PGs are available near the college. The food is also good. The infrastructure of the college is satisfactory.

Academics & Faculty:

The class timings are convenient. Various projects are given by the teachers. The quality of education is awesome. The overall experience is great.

Fees and Scholarship:

The course fee is very reasonable, loans are not required at all. No scholarships are available here.

Placements & Internships:

The placement of the college is very good. Many reputed companies come here every year. The stipend is also satisfactory.

Admissions:

The admission was done based on the cut-off marks released by the university. This year, the cut-off for B.Com was 93.75. The admission process was actually very easy.

There are many societies for cricket, dance, drama, singing, NCC, NSS etc and the life at the college is good.

College Infrastructure:

Currently, there is no hostel in the college and the wifi facility is available in the college.

Academics & Faculty:

The daily routine is quite good and the method of teaching is nice, the overall experience is good.

Fees and Scholarship:

My course fee is INR 41000 per year. It is Sikh minority college so the scholarship is available for Sikh students.

Placements & Internships:

The average salary is around INR 5 lakh and many companies come to hire CS branch students.

  • Food quality is okay but not soo good.

  • The quality of teaching is very nice and good because od the experience of the teacher.
