No, there are no hostels. There are in all 3 canteens in the college campus. Prices are average. And free WiFi available based on their college I'd.

It depends on the Subject you take, different subjects have different timings. The condition of the college is not good as it is the old building and the teaching is average. I have a bad experience in this college.

Smt SK Somaiya Junior College of Education has particular fee structure Rs.22,400 for the bifocal subject only PCM with CS. Around 70- 80 students got the addmision.

Admissions

,I have taken Computer Science as my subject which includes PCM subjects. I had scored 86.4% in my boards, I got admission in the Science Department. But for CS(Computer Science) I had to wait for another list. The first list cut-off went to 86.6. 0.2% more then my score. Then finally I got the addmision after the second list. For CS I payed an additional fee of INR 22,400 because it's a bifocal subject. The lowest cutoff went to around 80%.

There are various student societies in the college premises such as the techno club, cultural forum,nss. The main festivals of the campus are utkarsh, tech exposure, etc.

College Infrastructure 9/10

The infrastructure is very well built. The food available in the college is of good quality. The labs, classrooms, and other buildings are also good.

Academics & Faculty 7/10

The quality of teaching is good and the computer laboratories are very well equipped. The daily routine is good, but tedious sometimes due to extra lectures and practicals.

Fees and Scholarship 7/10

The academic year fees are INR 32000 and only SC/ST students are applying for scholarships while others are not.

Placements & Internships 8/10

Many companies visit our college during meet-ups and career fests that are arranged up for students.

Admissions

The eligibility criteria here is mostly for the Gujarati minority, whereas others have high cutoffs.

Every festival is giving proper quality and proper preference. Our college is best in cultural and sports activity. The life in the college is very good.

College Infrastructure 8/10

There are more than 3 hostels in the college. I don't know about the hostel's fee. The Food quality is good and the price is too reasonable. The classrooms, labs and library are very much satisfying. Wifi is too good.

Academics & Faculty 7/10

The college timing is 7 am to 10.30 am. There are total 2 projects which we have to submit in a whole year. The teaching staff is too good enough. According to me, the overall experience is good.

Fees and Scholarship 8/10

The college fee is INR 8500. There are numbers of scholarship options which were provided by the college. Being honest I don't know the number of students who get the scholarship. No there's no requirement of loan for studying b.com.

Placements & Internships 7/10

I haven't completed my studies yet. There are lots of internships opportunities which were provided by the college there are the bunch of companies coming for hiring the students. The average salary is INR 120k per year. Alumni network is too good.

Admissions

The admission is based on your marks scored in the academics. There was no entrance exam. The cutoff list is high as compared to the other nearby colleges.

The student may go for the extra curricular activities like the cultural programme, sports, student association, management, tech. College life is cool and one can really enjoy their college days and they will be provided with all infrastructure and skillful staff which help them to learn for better tomorrow.

Two hostels are there inside the college campuses. Facilities provide along with hostel are Gym, dry cleaning, WiFi, meal & breakfast, parking and etc. The hostel fee is INR 40,000 to INR 80,000 per year. Food costs INR 40 to INR 50 per meal.

The daily routine includes practicals, lectures, assignments, seminar preparation, project work etc. Almost all the teaching staff has done Ph.D. and are highly qualified. Realistic study models are the promising benchmark in the process of learning. The campus atmosphere is positive, secure, and surrounded by greenery. Overall great place to learn.

The course fee is INR 10,000 to INR 15,000. The liable student can enjoy fees relaxation approved by government authorities like EBC or scholarship etc.

Lectures start from 11:20 am to 3:10 pm and on some days are from it is 2:20 am to 4:50 pm.

There are hostels in our college for college students and better facility given. The fee is as per Mumbai University. Food and other facilities are much better.

11 am to 5 pm is the college timings. The project is been given along with presentations and all the methods of teaching are one-way communication. Experience in my college is good.

Our college has many committees such as the sports club, readers club, idea club, cultural forum club, NSS(NATIONAL SOCIAL SERVICE ) club, they all come with their own interesting events relating to education, fun, marketing etc.

College Infrastructure 9/10

The infrastructure is good, ventilation is proper, sanitation facilities are good. Canteens and library are well maintained, 2 libraries one for borrowing books and other for reading books.

Academics & Faculty 8/10

Quality of teaching is nice and really good, they focus more on students development and their soft skills.

Fees and Scholarship 9/10

The annual fee for my course was around INR.21350 per year, which need to pay by DD. (For open and quota admission) for scheduled caste it was around INR.10000.

Many companies come to our college for placements and for providing internships as our college has a placement cell, which enables the company to do so many financial companies come such as ICICI, HDFC, etc.
