It's a 3-year course with around INR 90000 fee per annum. If you are outstanding in academics than you stand a chance to get Dr. G. S. Khush Scholarship covering half of your fee. Two students get the scholarship each from the rural and urban background. In most of the cases, no loan is required but if you require financial support can easily go to the bank and apply for education loan which is easily available.

PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK

Basically, you don't get a job just after bachelors. You have to do M.Sc For 2 years along to get a decent job. The campus placement is not good, one has to apply outside. And most of the companies picking you up will be pharmaceutical or agro-based ie. Himalaya, Nestle etc. and besides from that, there is teaching option available. Average salary goes around INR 2.5 lakhs per annum to INR 4 lakhs per annum. Alumni's network is huge with members from last 30-40 years and an alumni meet is held every year.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Admissions requirements were a secondary education in sciences, no matter medical or non-medical. There's a common entrance Test [CET], exclusively for PAU held in June each year. On the basis of rank, you get the various branches and courses. For microbiology, it's around 200 and there are 20 seats.
