There are more than 20 clubs and committees which you can be part of and learn a different aspect of practice things other than studies. The main festivals are Richter and Ranbhoomi. There is also something called NCL which is one of the most fun times on campus.

There are 4 hostels inside the campus and the people who do MBA have to stay inside. This saves a lot of time which is a luxury here. The fee is included in the overall money they take. You cannot stay in a PG outside. Food is pretty decent being in a foodie land of Gujarat. 


ACADEMICS & FACULTY

The daily routine in the first year will be very hectic. Classes are from 9 am to 5 pm followed by pre-reads and post reads and assignments. The quality of teaching is average and traditional methods are being used. The over all experience is above average as the people make it worth living.

The course fee is around INR 12 lac for 2 years which includes everything from food to stay to the course fee. There is a scholarship available for top 50 people if their family income is less than 2 lac. Loans are needed.

I interned at BDO India LLP in Pune and had a stipend of INR 15000. It is good if you looking for the role in financial sales and IT industry. You will get ample of options here. It has a very strong alumni network.

Students graduated in any stream can apply here. You have to appear for a CAT exam. Without a CAT score, you cannot appear for the further admission process.

There are many clubs and committees in the college of the different academic domain along with cultural purposes like Optimus for operations fiesta for singing and dancing. Along with this, there is placement and alumni relation committee as well The major fest of college is Richter perspective Overall college life is filled with fun and excitement.

There are 2 boys and girls. The fee is INR 1 lac pa The student has to compulsorly live in the hostel if he is opting for full time mba Food in the hostel has a taste of gujrati flavor and the cost is included in hostel fee. The classroom and other facilities are top quality.

The routine is hectic and class timings are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The assignments and projects are based on the real-life situation that helps a student in applying the theoretical concept in practical situations The teachers are highly trained and professional and use methods like presentation cases and others for teaching purpose Overall experience in college was good

I did my internship from Karvy stock broking limited and was responsible for client acquisition and sale of demat and sip of mutual funds In the college for internship as well as final placement mostly BFSI and IT company come for recruitment followed by startups The avg package in Nirma university is of INR 8.5 lakhs The college has broad alumni network with the alumni working in companies like Deloitte globals, JPMC, and many other reputed companies

The entrance was done based on CAT percentile and the personal interview conducted. The percentile has to be above 85 to be eligible for admission to the Nirma University.

  • The course fees are around Rs 120000 including the tuition fee, hostel fee and mess fees.
  • As this is a residential programme it is mandatory for every to avail all the facilities provided by the college.
  • College also provides a scholarship of 50k to top 30 students in the first year and in the second year if they maintain a set CGPA.
  • Also, the college provides a provision of providing a scholarship to students whose parents monthly income is less than Rs 10000.
  • Loans would be required if the student does not have enough savings and does not want to put pressure on the family.
  • All banks would easily give a loan of 7.5Lakhs. To get a loan above that a collateral is required or you could go to a private financial institution at a higher rate of interest.
  • Public sector banks like SBI, PNB, etc would easily give a loan of Rs 7.5 lakhs.

  • Institute of Management, Nirma University considers the score of CAT for the admission purpose.
  • In the year 2015, it had kept 80% percentile as cut off criteria and also allowed admission through Management quota for which the final cut off was 77%.
  • But for the admission for batch 2018, the cutoff was dropped to 75% percentile.
  • The selection was done on the basis of WAT and Personal Interviews conducted across countries.
  • Questions for WAT are kept general to test the thought process and personal interview is also resume based.
  • Mostly it is to check the compatibility and flexibility of the student.

  • For internships, the key roles offered were sales and start-up. The learning curve through these roles had been given the candidate had the right attitude.
  • For finance students also there were quite a few financial institutions which came. Though the profile in general offered was not core finance profile but data collection and analysis, but the learning was great given the quality of mentors for the project.
  • College is good for marketing and finance, not that preferable for operations and HR aspirants.
  • I did my internship in Mumbai-based logistics start - up, Rapidels with a stipend of Rs 10000 a month.
  • The stipend of the students ranged from 0 to 35k a month. Key companies which came for internships were HUL, Anand Rathi, RBI, SIDBI, GVFL, Gozoop, Taj, etc. Average stipend offered was Rs 10000 a month.
  • Placement season starts in the month of October and is going on for the current batch.
  • Last year the average package offered was 8LPA with 95% of the batch placed by the month of March. Key recruiters are CRISIL, CARE, Infosys, Cognizant, Axis Bank, SBI Life, TATA AIG, Dell etc.
  • In general, the profiles offered are Product Manager, Business Analysts and Sales.
  • Last year, the salary had ranged from Rs 6LPA to the highest Rs 17LPA offered by HUL.
  • IMNU has a strong network of Alumni with 3000+ alumni over the span of 20 years. Many of the senior alumni are at key positions in big companies and also many also have started their own venture.
  • The college has a student body to maintain relationships and empower the Institute as well the Alumni through a strong association.
  • For the same, there are series of alumni engagement programme conducted throughout the year.
