Here are a total of 22 clubs functioning right now..like NSS, EDC, THEATRIX, 19A, COMBAT CLUB, INFERNO, ICLICK..etc. Main festivals are UDBHAV ..probably the largest function in whole Karnataka. Then there is RAJOTSAV .. AAVISHKAR..and may others. Life is filled with enthusiasm and excitement
There are 3-4 hostels for boys and 2 for the girl... Food is above average. Mess charge is included within the hostel fees. Classes and labs are installed with CCTV cameras and a.c. Its neat, clean and shiny.
Full busy schedule. Professors are friendly. Its fun and tempting too...but overall It's amazing.

Hostels are good and strict too. Students are not allowed to go out after 7 pm. food is available in the mess if they feel like its bad they can have outside. Hostels are located nearby. no need to walk so long also. I have no clue regarding the hostel fee.
Canteens are available and the food is also good and hygienic. Per meal its about 40 rupees.
The infrastructure of classrooms, labs, libraries, and canteens are good and ventilated.
Course fee per year is about INR 50,000. There are scholarship options available like backward class scholarships for OBC students. and also based on the marks we get scholarships.

The daily routine is actually good, not that hectic. Class timings are more or less 6 hrs. In the final year, when we do project and internship, students won't have college for 3 days a week remaining 3 days students have to manage to do projects and classes.
Quality and method teaching is actually good. Students get to learn about the subjects on their own. if they find difficulty there will be video recorded for the classes taken, students can approach department and that cd and study.
It was an excellent experience in the campus, we get an opportunity to explore ourselves and friends and faculties encourage our talents and also they publish talents and any kind of events in the college magazine.
Eligibility criteria to get an admission in Ramaiah Institute of technology is student must get above 80% in board exams and less than 6000 ranking in KCET. Entrance exam which I took was KCET. A cutoff for the branch (Industrial Engineering and Management) is less than 6000.
There are a yearly fest and other cultural activities. The college life, in general, is enjoyable.
The infrastructure, libraries, classrooms, etc are like international standards. But the hostel in the college is not preferable. PG's outside the college which are comfortable.
The routine is same as in all other engineering colleges. The teachers are highly qualified and well experienced.
The fee is very reasonable in case you get into the college through CET exams. The fee is pretty reasonable. But, in case you are getting into the place in management quota, then the fees and donations are too high.
All the internships start from 4th year. Top companies in India come to the college to select talented students through campus interview. Salary ranges from a couple of thousands to lakhs. Entirely depends on one's interview and marks scored.

There are clubs ranging from entrepreneurship to photography. Debate society also known as DebSoc helps you improve your overall debating skills as well. Dance and Singing clubs help you express yourself. The main college fest UDBHAV happens once a year around March and the only college I believe celebrates so grandly in the month November the Rajyostava Festival. Other than these two. Entrepreneurship weeks are conducted. TED talks are also happening. Each department also conducts its fest both technical and entertainment covered. You can guarantee yourself and jam-packed happy college life in this college. The atmosphere is so enticing for you talk to so many wonderful people and their talents. So that you can figure yourself out as well
The college owns 3-4 hostel buildings. Separate for boys and girls. I have never lived in them because I was a day's scholar but from my friends who have lived there. You can rest be assured that you'll have a wonderful time making new friends and new memories. Multiple flats and PG's can also be found nearby where you can stay at a cheaper price. Overall infrastructure of the college is extremely good. The college is NBA certified and NAAC accredited with A grades.
Since I joined through government quota I was paying around Rs. 50,000 rupees per year. But the same course if you come through private exams such as COMEDK the seat is priced around Rs. 1.5L plus. Yes, scholarships are available and you can avail it under strict scrutiny by the Accounts Section. Loans may be required if you come through private exams and donation. And yes banks will avail it for you easily. They have a bank on Campus, Vijaya Bank where you can get the loan easily.
Multiple company's have tied up with this college for R&D. Placement department is busy throughout the year making sure the right talent pool gets picked up and equal opportunities is provided for everyone. Their range of contacts include from top IT company's to startup's. Since Bangalore being India's startup hub. The mass recruitment happens with a salary range from Rs. 3 lakh and above, while new gen companies such as Amazon and Flipkart come with a package of Rs. 10lakh and above. You will surely be placed if you give it a good try in this college.
MSRIT generally demands a higher cutoff. I joined this college and course by writing KCET which is a demanding exam where you are required to finish 60 questions in 60 minutes of multiple choice answers. I joined this course in 2013, then it was a cut off of 9k rank and I was just well within that rank
A lot of student clubs are there in the college. Kannada rajyotsava is a big deal here. We have annual athletic meet, udbhav fest and many other events keep happening throughout the year. College is very big, it's good. Life in college is pleasant.
Wifi speed is very low, the library is good, classrooms are huge, labs have proper facilities and the washrooms on each floor Canteen is pretty good. All sorts of food items are available.The meal on average costs INR 40-80.
A few teachers are really knowledgeable, while a few teachers don't teach properly Language isn't a problem here, almost everyone knows English College timings are 9 am-3.35 pm, 9 am-4:30 pm,9am-12(on Saturday) for 1st-year students. 2nd assignment tests and 3rd internals are taken in a semester.
I came in the college through KCET, so I have to pay INR 50-60K yearly, with additional exam fee, practical records etc. The scholarship is available only for students belonging to backward classes. A person is entering through COMED-K or management may need a loan as the fee is pretty high.
Placements from our college are pretty high. An average student usually ends up with a package between INR 5-10 lakhs. I am still doing my graduation right now.
Admission in MSRIT can be through a common entrance test (KCET), COMED-K(for people from outside Karnataka), NRI quota or Management I was admitted in the college through KCET Typically, the cut off rank for a seat in information science section below 2000.
Placements are quite good. I must say that even during recession period the college has a good no of placements. CS and IT are the branches with almost 99% placements followed by EEE, ECE, Mech,Civil etc
One have to give either COMEDK UGET exam or CET exam to get an admission into this college. COMEDK UGET is for both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka students were as CET is only for students from Karnataka.I have given COMEDK exam. It is an online exam. Questions are mostly simple.

There is separate hostel for boys and girls. College hostels are good but the food is not that good. NRI hostel is good but bit costly. Food in college canteen is good. Many varieties of fast food is available. College is WiFi enabled and libraries will be opened till 9pm on regular days and till 11pm during exams. Labs are well maintained with sophisticated equipments.
Class timings 9am - 4:30pm. Exams - 3 internals, 1exam per semester. Each semester include as assignments. Course includes 1 mini project and 1 main project. Teaching quality is good. No need to go to tutions, and every classroom has a projector which enhances the learning process. Overall environment of the college is good and many hang out places are there nearby and it is very nearby to Railway station and many restaurants and food places which students can visit.
For those who get through:- 1.CET - 40000,45000/year. 2.Comed- K - 250000, 275000/year. 3.Management - 100000,120000/year. Many scholarships are available for students through merit and also through alumini are available. Loans are easily available and also a very good number of students get scholarships.
Companies that hire - INTEL, BOSCH, INDIAN NAVY, quest global, Alstom HP, Johnson controls, Atkins, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, mathworks, cisco, Google, Amazon, bigbasket, Flipkart, ninjacart, cognizant, L&T, Temenos etc about 3500 offers are made and 100% of the students gets placed. There are many clubs like Debsoc (debate club), EDC (entrepreneurship development cell), fashion club, nature club, dance club, singing club, drama club, photography club. Udbhav is the main cultural fest of the year. Avishkara is the tech fest. Life is very good, joy, calm here.
There are three boys hostel and one girl's hostel. Apart from these, there are many hostels, and pg close to the college. Food quality is average in the college canteen. The price is also not much high. the libraries, labs are very rich and advanced. They also have separate departmental libraries, along with digital libraries.
A daily routine is well balanced. Class timing is similar and peculiar. The method of teaching is quite effective and informative. I can say that this college provides a good environment for overall development.
My fee is on and about 2 lakhs P.A. The scholarship plan is worst thing have seen. They only provide a scholarship to Karnataka students who came through KCET. You can apply for loans. SBI gives loans easily.
Till now I have not applied for an internship, but I have seen my seniors doing intern at companies like L&T, Tata Motors, Audi, etc.
I came through COMEDK UGET examination. The cut-off for me was above 100 out of 180 and for civil engineering. My board's marks were also considered.
The candidate must clear the CMAT exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. Minimum 70% cutoff mark is required.
