The college canteen and the food stalls inside the campus hold several options when it comes to pleasing one's appetite. The choice and quality of food are increasingly better than the Hostel food. PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK

The college has a placement board which helps you brush up your skills through different entrance examinations before the final selection process takes place by companies offering jobs. There is an option for interning with a media house or a radio channel in either your 2nd or your final year of college. I had interned with The Times of India, Kolkata, as a part of my Journalism internship for a month's period which helped me gain more exposure and better technical writing/editing skills.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

I had to go through an interview before the final selection process took place, which mainly focused on my Higher Secondary marks card. The cut off for my course (BA in Journalism, Psychology, and English Literature) was 75% for all subjects and good English speaking skills.
