22 hostels. Hostels are amazing, but it's expensive compared to moving out. I'd suggest to move out. It costs 10k per month in almost both cases, but flats are way more comfortable. Mess costs around 5k per month
Daily routine is awesome. Very chill. Teaching quality is good. Overall experience is amazing.
The Course fee in MIT is INR 3.4 lacs per anum. Not really aware of scholarships, but I know they do offer scholarships. Not aware I have no idea about loans. But it is showed on the college website, I guess

MU OET is the only exam considered in MIT, Manipal. Cutoff was around 115 out of 200 for mechatronics back in 2016
There are more than 150+ student clubs in MIT manipal which include non technical clubs like dramatics, dance, music, arts, debate etc, techincal clubs like IECSE, IEEE, AISTE, AIESEC etc and student projects like Formula manipal, MRM, TMR which are all renowned in their fields. Students are free to join as many clubs each of which helps in their personal growth. Most of these clubs have events of their own like the plays put on by the dramatics clubs or acoustic nights by MAFIA. Other than these the two main college fests are Tech Tatva and Revels where colleges from all over india come to participate in various events.
The college celebrates all major festivals by making arrangements in the hockey/football ground and all students and faculty are invited. A sight to behold is the diwali celebration where instead of lighting firecrackers everyone releases fire lanterns into the sky and the entire night sky is filled with lanterns drifting away. The college life is energizing and fun and teaches us how to be independent.
There are currently a total of 20+ hostel blocks, out of which half are girls blocks and the rest are boys blocks, all the hostels have great infrastructure and facilities. Each hostel has several wardens appointed and caretakers to take care of the students' well being and safety. Each block has different fees depending on which type of room it is. Other than the hostels there are pgs and appartments available for students within campus vicinity. The campus has several food mess, veg and non veg separated with good hygenic food and for those who are unable to enjoy their food there are other options available as well. All hostels and academic areas have high speed Wifi and water filters.
The basic class timings is from 8am to 5:30pm. There are breaks after two consecutive classes and lunch breaks, classes are scheduled 6 days a week and vary wrt to time table. A minimum of two half days is observed in the timetable. The faculty is experienced and learned and extremely supportive. The campus atmosphere is very friendly and supportive and prioritizes student safety and well being. Infrastructure is top notch and course currriculum is regularly updated.

I recently finished my 2nd year and am now interning at a startup in Bangalore, while the course plan is elaborate and covers basic skills required I would suggest students to cultivate technical skills apart from the course plan for a more dynamic profile. Key companies that recruit from the campus include Amazon, Microsoft, Dell, Bosch, Deloitte, FIAT etc. Overall placement is good as long as you have a well rounded skill set.
MIT has a separate entrance exam which follows similar question pattern as JEE Mains with a total of 200 question to be solved in 2 hours. The diffiulty level of these questions is below JEE Mains and covers basics of all subjects. One mark is rewarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking. The typical Cutoff for IT is around 150 marks. While the questions arent very difficult it is a race against time to solve as many questions correctly within the time limit.
Various companies from all fields like management consultancy, finance, data analysis, technical, sales visit the campus. The average salary is 3 LPA.
The entrance exam is the MUOET, out of 200 marks. 100 marks can assure you a seat in the main campus depending on your branch. CSE and such branches are 135+. EEE, Mechatronics, Aero, Auto are 115+.
The college will have annual day sometimes with DJ gigs. College is awesome and it's very great.

The admission in Manipal is through mouet exam which is conducted by MIT itself and is independent of JEE Mains rank. The cutoff for each branch varies Like for CSE it's between 1 - 1500 rank And likewise for other branches. I took muoet to get into this college. it has three branches one in Jaipur one in Manipal and last in Sikkim which has its own recruitment test.
The main festivals are TECHTATVA ( technical fest) and Revels(Cultural fest). Some other programs and competitions go on throughout the year. There are more than 100 student clubs where you can participate and showcase your talent.
There are 26 hostels blocks including for both boys and girls. The classroom is fully furnished and air conditioning. The hostel is of different types based on our choice we can select anyone. The food differs from mess to mess. The food is good according to health check department
The class routine is different for every day and the timetable works from 8:00 am to8:00 pm. Based on our course and year the timings are different. The teachers are very experienced and teaching skills are great.
The course fees different for every batch regardless of the hostel fees. there are many scholarship schemes available in our college. Even I'm studying under AICTE Scholarship for having low family income less than INR 6 lakhs.
The placement department is very good. They bring top companies such as Microsoft, Hp, Intel etc. The alumni are very great for our college since great persons Satya Nadella ( CEO OF MICROSOFT), Rajiv Suri(CEO OF NOKIA) etc are graduated from this college.
The eligibility criteria are the student should have passed his 12th board with 75% aggregate. They should take Manipal University online entrance test which is an online exam. Based on the score of MUOET the ranks will be displayed on the result day. On the day of counselling, the rank cutoff for the branches will be declared. Based on our choices we choose any course and pay the fees.
The following are the eligibility criteria:- 65% or above in 10th and 12th of any certified board:- The compulsory score in MANIPAL UNIVERSITY ONLINE ENTRANCE TEST (MU-OET). MU-OET is the only test one can answer and get a score to apply for an admission to Manipal University. The top branches in terms of filling up are computer science, mechanical, electronics and communication and information technology which will need an above 120/200 score in the test.

For entering Manipal Institute of technology you need to clear MUOET. They set a different cutoff for different branches. Mit is one of the prestigious colleges of India. I took MUOET for entering Mit along with that I gave BITSAT, JEE MAIN, JEE ADVANCED, VITEEE etc. The cutoff for my branch i.e Computer and communication engineering it was set around 118.
