Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE), batch of 2018
Societies & Associations 6/10

There are a lot of societies in the college: drama society, debate society, dance, etc. Every department in the college has its own annual departmental fest and the college as a whole has an annual fest too, called Yuvaan. The departmental fests are filled with department related events and activity and the annual fest includes sports and a performance from a decent singer. Life in college is pretty good, if you're looking for quiet environments and cleanliness.

College Infrastructure 9/10

The college has a girls hostel and a boys hostel. I'm not informed about the hostel fee. There are a few PGs in the college area and all of them have decent costs, around 1000 per month. Food in college is pretty good too, and it is very cheap again because of being a government funded college. It would cost around 25-30 rupees to have a full meal. Classrooms are well built and maintained, so are the corridors and the washrooms. Our college is one of the best when it comes to infrastructure in Delhi University. Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus. There is a proper basketball court, table tennis room, gym, i door games area, spacious and clean canteen, decent library with essential books only.

Academics & Faculty 7/10

Daily routine is very student friendly. Though it takes me 2 hours to reach college, I rarely miss a class as the timings are very convenient. We are given group and individual projects as a part of internal assessments regularly. Quality and method of teaching are as good as they get. Newer technologies such as projectors are used along with basic methods: chalk and blackboard. Overall experience in college is decent, since it is an off campus college, it stays a bit too quiet.

Fees and Scholarship 9/10

Course fee is negligible at 11000 rupees per year. There are various student aid funds available for Kashmiri immigrants, PWDs, etc. Also, toppers from each course get facilitated with trophies and scholarship at the annual function. Almost all the students applying for the scholarship get it if they can verify themselves tl be eligible. No, loans are definitely not required.

Placements & Internships 3/10

I have done a paid internship at a startup called "Viuby". This was during June-July 2016. The average salary for placements would be around 2-3 lacs. Alumni network is very strong. Every year our department holds a lecture from an alumnus who is doing well to share his experience of the outside world after graduating from our college.

Admissions

Admission for the BBE course is done via a joint entrance test held in June for three courses: BBE, BFIA, and BMS. The student has to have scored at least 60% in his class 12 to be eligible for this test. The result is released in the form of ranks and marks in the entrance test along with class 12 marks for each student and students with higher ranks get to choose the college they would like to get admission in first.

The college has many societies in which students can be a part of like Nataraj dance society, Neptune music society, Meraki English theatre society and samyantar the stage play society. Tech surge and mridang are the annual technical and cultural festivals. Life in the campus is adventurous and awesome with lots of things to do with groups and friends. Its a lifetime experience.

College Infrastructure 8/10

There is only a girls hostel with fees may be INR 2000 per month or above. PG's range from INR 5000 per month. The cafeteria in college offers hygienic and nutritious foods as well as has ample space for sitting and parties. Classrooms are good and spacious, the library has many books to help students and is free to use for all students.

Academics & Faculty 8/10

Classes start at 8 am and held till 4 pm in the evening with 1-hour long break. Quality of teaching is good and method of teaching is manually by teachers. The overall experience of my college is good.

Fees and Scholarship 8/10

The course fee is INR 5000 PA. Scholarship options are available to a certain group of students relating to certain sections of society. Average of 25% students get scholarships. Loans are not needed.

Placements & Internships 8/10

Internship and placements to top companies like Google, Reliance, IBM, Microsoft are held every year in annual placement fair at the college. Average salary figures range from INR 5 lacs per annum to 15 lacs per annum being the highest. An average of 50-55% students gets placed every year.

Admissions

Only eligible students get admission. The cutoff range very high 98.0 to 93.5 averagely.
