Societies & Associations:

Jain University has a good number of clubs and associations. This is the only one university which supports both academics and extra-curricular activities with equal importance. Take my word, the college life will be amazing here.

Placements & Internships:

Jain University offers the best placements and assures 100% placements to all the students. Companies like IBM, Google, Cap Gemini, etc. recruit candidates from Jain University and offer good packages as well. The highest offered salary is INR 13 lakhs per annum as I know.

College Infrastructure:

The infrastructure is awesome. I studied in the Jayanagar campus of Jain University. The campus is located in the heart of the city and is easily accessible. The campus has a badminton court inside and a really cool cafeteria. The food is nice and affordable too. The only thing is, you will get only vegetarian food inside the campus. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. But during the summer season, the classrooms do feel a bit congested. The labs are equipped with good quality equipment.

Academics & Faculty:

The faculty is the best part of Jain University. They are so friendly and keep an open attitude towards the students and the parents. Their method of teaching is so nice. They always make sure to engage and interact with the students. I'd suggest Jain University to everyone.

Jain University offers numerous clubs and groups that students can be a part of, be it extra curricular or anything related to studies. There are many forums such as the cultural forum, commerce forum, dance forum, etc.

All these aspects make college life at Jain University colorful and enjoyable.

College Infrastructure:

Jain University has 3 girls' and 3 boys' hostels spread all over in Bangalore, they offer 4 times meals a day and transportation facilities at a cost of INR 100000 per annum.

Other than hostels, students have an option of staying in PGs near college although the cost would be almost the same.

There are a couple of canteens in and around the campus that offers decent and hygienic food that is pocket-friendly.

The Jayanagar campus looks like a corporate office building from the outside but the inside needs a lot of maintenance, the only good thing about the campus is the library which is richly stocked.

Academics & Faculty:

Jain University is pretty relaxed as there are only 4 hours of classes with one break in between.

The teachers give projects and assignments throughout the semester that has a weight age of 20% of the final marks.

The quality and method of teaching need a lot of improvement, but the overall experience of this college is good.

Fees and Scholarship:

B.Com professional costs INR 100000 per year without a scholarship.

Candidates who have secured 85% marks and above in 12th standard/ 2nd PUC are eligible for a scholarship of INR 5000 and above.

Placements & Internships:

The placement cell in Jain University is highly functional and very student friendly.

The placement process starts towards the end of the 2nd year with over a 100 companies that come for recruitment. Prior to this, interested students are given training on how to sit for interviews, group discussion and any other skill that needs to be cultivated for giving a successful interview.

The companies that come, offer a salary of INR 200000 - INR 30000 per annum.

Students who could not be placed during the course of their degree can contact the placement cell even after graduation.

Jain University ensures 100% placement every year.

There are no entrance exams for B.Com. Any candidate who has secured 75% marks and above in 12th/ 2nd PUC, is eligible for applying for the course.

Jain University hostels are the best hostels in the entire city, the rooms are well-maintained and clean. Talking about the infrastructure, it is the best with world class facilities. Be it the classrooms, computer labs, laboratories, canteen etc, everything is upto the mark.

The faculty at Jain University is simply the best. They are very knowledgeable and well experienced in their field. The teachers are very interactive as well. They encourage the students to bits and never force the students to study. The rules are much relaxed at Jain University compared to other universities in India. I did Bsc Animation at Jain University and I believe that Jain University is one among the best Animation Colleges in Bangalore.

For my course, there were different media corporation that the college would help students get into internships in industries varying from advertising, public relation, radio, events, marketing, theater etc. Students can visit the placement cell and enquire with the person in charge about the opportunities available in the field he/she is interested in.

The alumni network which includes students who are pursuing higher education and students who are working in different areas of expertise who collaborates with the college to give an in-depth feel and experience of what is required in the corporate world to achieve success.

The eligibility and admission process is fairly simple for NRI students, you just require getting 50% and above in the 12th-grade board exams. There is no interview process with the teachers of the departments and the students wanting to enroll at the college, also you don't require to give any external or internal entrance exam for selection of the course. If you have completed 12th grade out of India you are automatically put in NRI criteria and are not treated as students who completed 12th in India.
